This is a crazy scenario and I'm guessing not challengeable.

Challengeable by rules I saw.

KAT DADDY IS SO CLUTCH

with his defense now he’s top 15 nba talent

Well, I think Fox at first thought he was uncontested, not realizing how fast OG was closing or the angle fully. And he's not used to getting run down from behind. Seems more borderline than anything else. OG legit hero. Won the series for them.

30 points in a half in the finals. Where does that rank in the pantheon? Looks like 22 is the record low, 54 for a game? Those are pretty scary numbers, especially looking at it from today's game perspective.

Won the series for them.

After a team just came back from down 29, I wouldn't preemptively declare neither team the series winner just yet...

+344 is insanely horrible odds down 3-1. My god It's like the market is expecting the comeback.

Oh for sure, I really like Knicks at that price. That being said, stating that SA only has 1% of winning the series like one of the No Dunks guys said today, is simply lol. I mean, might as well bet the entirety of your BR on the Knicks then, right, as one would be printing monies with that line of thought...

if you wanna bet the knackz, prob wait until they lose g5

If Knicks take the finals, no way the open up as favourites to repeat, right...

A little like the Mardi Gras Miracle when LSU was up 31 on UK evidently trying to win by 60 ... and a funny thing happened to Dale Brown's crew.

no, Spurs/OKC it is already up

Celts/Knicks similar odds to win east

Got it. Spurs/OKC tied in 1st, NY 3rd, Boston 4th and Miami 5th on Polymarket!!!

what are the heat odds based on?

by 72off

what are the heat odds based on?

The upcoming Giannis trade, 4 sure... It seems just about done, especially if markets are giving Miami such great odds...

edit : hummm Miami is +6000 on Odds checker... Polymarket does have some suspicious odds indeed...

Heat is 75-1 on CZR last I saw.

Heat is 75-1 on CZR last I saw.

It dropped to 55-1.

Knicks about to win the chip without a Top 5 player (sorry AIM).

That's super-rare. Last time was maybe 2014 (was Duncan still a Top 5 player at that point?).

Before that was 2004 with Detroit (the only obvious one).

And the time before that was 1989-90 with Detroit (IT was borderline)

Time before that was in the 70s were it seemed more common.

Some ones this decade are questionable. Maybe make it top 10?

SGA - yes
Tatum - has made 1st team, but wouldn’t say he’s a def top 5
Jokic - yes
Old Curry? - prob not.
Giannis - yes
Old LeBron or AD? Maybe?

Dirk in 2011? Would anyone have said he was top 5 when those playoffs started?

I guess Fox is actually a moron. Forgot about this gem.

Duncan was not top 5 in 2014 but they had a really stacked ensemble cast. Early on pace/space way of playing as well.

If Brunson isn't top 5 what is he though? like 8th and 5-8 is kinda same tier probably. I'd have guys like Cade, Tatum over him for 2way but guys like Giannis and Kawhi I'm really not sure. They are always hurt and haven't done anything in the playoffs in forever.

Does how the guy does in the playoffs influence if he is top 5 or not?

Tatum is borderline, he was more like top 10. You may have taken some of the old guys over him ceiling wise. Also didn't have the best ECF/finals offensively but were both jokes so didn't really matter. Actually he is probably closest on this list to Brunson. Top 10 guy that you can get him to 5 if you give him every tiebreaker.

Curry I think was definitely top 5, he was the best player in that playoffs besides maybe Giannis. GS started 29-6 that year without Klay then kinda paced themselves rest of way it seemed like. Probably the weakest title team of post-KD era NBA talent wise but that title really solidified their legacies. Wasn't any D Fox stuff in the finals, they dominated last 9 quarters basically.

Bubble Bron was still top 5 I'd say. AD was very close too.

Dirk is the most interesting because no way is he getting ranked top 5 before that playoffs. The 4 previous years prior to that were

07 - Lost to GS 1 v 8 as the league MVP, this same GS team got worked by the Boozer/Deron Jazz next rd

08 - CP and New Orleans beat Mavs in a forgettable 5 gamer

09 - Win a round off SA without Ginobili, next round get washed by the Nuggets

10 - Lose rd 1 to Spurs.......he had some big numbers in a few of these series but 1 playoff series win in 4 years before title.

Kobe/Bron/DWade/Dwight/CP at time and that is just off my head. But he was the best player in that playoffs.

Didn't think about Dirk. Probably borderline. Here's the years leading into (and including) 2011
