Second break, still on about 85k.
Achievement unlocked: acquire green 25k chip.
Not many big spots the last three levels. I led out with top pair on the turn after the flop checked around, then check/called river to induce a bluff, which he obliged.
Then later I got two streets when TT was an overpair.
Got to say hi to rppoker, mrbaseball, and DogFace on break. Hope we all get to make the dinner break together!
Still really like my table. A bunch of very exploitable players.
Gonna keep making good decisions.

Third break, nice little spin up to 205k.
I just got moved tables, and the guy to my left is the only one that covers me.
I defend a btn open with Jh9h, and flop the world, Th-8-2h. I get a checkraise in on the flop, button calls.
Missed the offsuit K turn, but open-shoved anyways. Got snap called by KT, so it was pretty funny watching the smile drain from his face in real time as the 5h comes off the river.
A little later, I check my option from BB with T8o, and I lead out the 8-6-4r flop. A weak, shortstacked player is the only caller from CO.
I check/call the K turn, and check/call his river shove on the Q river. 74o no good.
Other than that, I’ve gotten a couple squeezes through on my new table, so I probably have a dangerous image.
Just gotta treat the chipleader to my left thoughtfully.
3 more levels, then dinner!

I was a bit discombobulated when we talked because I had just lost a brutal hand right before the second break, but glad to have run into you!
I'm out now, so you have my permission to be the end of day 2A chip leader tomorrow night. I'll settle for day 2B.
On dinner with 235k. Average is 147k, so we’re in great shape right now.
Had by far the best meal of the trip, at my favorite WSOP dinner break spot, Battista’s Hole in the Wall.
It was me, rppoker, feel wrath, Prairiebreeze, and mrbaseball… and we had a FABULOUS time.
When I think back on poker trips, the money is whatever. It comes, it goes.
But the things that last are the shared experiences, with like minded people that have always been just screen names for so long.
I had the veal parmigiana, with creamed spinach and pasta.
Including some minestrone, a carafe of wine to split, and a dessert cappuccino, it was great value, for $46.
Now 3 more levels, then hopefully bagging for Day 2!

Bagged 270k, which is right about average.
I was up over 400k, but I made some pretty creative light plays that were inadvisable.
What a whirlwind!
I thought I played and ran pretty well today.
We’re still about 100 knockouts away from the money. The bubble should pop early into Day 2 tomorrow.
Well I’m gonna get some sleep. Big day coming back to a BAG tomorrow!

Moby and I are locked in and ready.
501 players return for Day 2. Bubble at 403 players. But you’ve gotta make at least 98th to triple your buyin. And I’m already in for two bullets.
So despite feeling like what a great accomplishment it is to bag for Day 2, we’re still a LONG way from anything meaningful, or noteworthy.
I’m feeling good, and I’m ready. No skipping ahead to the end.
