NL2 6-max - JJ OOP in a 3-bet pot on K-high paired board

Hero (100bb) SB with JJ

CO (128.5bb) is 36/28 over 121 hands.

Preflop: CO opens to 2.5bb, Hero 3-bets to 12bb, BB folds, CO calls.

Flop (25bb): K 6 6

Hero bets 6.5bb (~26% pot), CO calls.

Turn (38bb): 7

Hero checks, CO checks.

River (38bb): 9

Hero checks, CO bets 21.5bb (~57% pot).

Hero?

Thought process:

I went with a small range c-bet on the flop, although I'm not sure if checking is preferred on this texture.
Once Villain called, I felt JJ was mostly a bluff-catcher, so I checked the turn.
After the turn checked through, I wasn't sure how many bluffs Villain has on the river versus a 36/28. The front-door flush completed, although many flush draws may bet the turn.

Questions:

Do you prefer a small c-bet or a check with JJ on this flop?
Is turn check standard after getting called?
Facing a ~57% pot river bet after Villain checks back the turn, is JJ a profitable bluff-catcher against this profile, or is folding the exploitative play at NL2?

From a meta perspective, at 2NL I assume the field is underbluffing and overcalling EXCEPT when they b50 IP on river, especially when turn goes x/x

I picked up on this early on in my grind but you also hear Marc Goone talk about it in live poker that recs will use b50 as a bluff size very often

On to the hand itself: I think flop is fine, OOP I would check this board as I think you get more information from V by checking than betting small, though I think b20 will get called by worse often enough that it's still +EV. At these stakes I think V is raising Kx on this flop at a >50% frequency.

Turn is fine for pot control especially if villain is on the passive side.

River is entirely player dependent IMO, against the high vpip/low pfr players I think it's just a fold, but when I was grinding 2NL and faced these spots I was calling at almost 100freq here. Maybe that's a leak in my game but when you take this line, I found that Vs are overbluffing river here. I would expect him to showdown AQ and 88, 99, TT at a pretty decent frequency (as well as Kx some of the time of course). I don't think his sets ever bet this size on river.

Thanks — you mentioned regs might overbluff this line after turn checks through. Is that based on database results or just your experience from grinding 2NL?
