NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!

DraftKings
Where misclicks turn to gold!
congrats on the mistake bully 😀
I only realized this last past afternoon when I checked my golf teams and wtf at my balance.
😃
Darn, that game would of been the absolute sweat live had you known of your bet, with the Spurs leading throughout and the Knicks with one of their familiar improbable comebacks!!!
What middleI was trying to hedge my October bet on the Spurs. The moneylines were the same fir bothe series and game 1. I knew I had to dig a bit to get to the series screen but must've got lulled by the familiar numbers after all the rechecking. The subscript under the team names is small & light gray and just didn't register with me.By far the biggest bet i've ever made excep
bully, are you sure that peer to peer is the reason why it's too complicated... sounds like all of them are too complicated 😀
Gambling is a disgrace and all of you should feel embarrassed for doing so.
When the Bulls lost Game 1 of Jordan/Jackson et als first finals after summarily sweeping dynasty Detroit out of the playoffs, it was a ponderous, I mean pondering, moment for handicappers of the scene. The Bulls confidently but carefully checked their hole card, and the league paid the price for most of the next 10 years.
What about the Spurs? They stopped a reported budding dynasty in the semis, but in a 15-round back and forth slug fest, not in dominant fashion ala the Bulls. Wemby is certainly playing some awesome games living fully up to the billing, but is also mixing in a bunch of very unawesome ones, this inconvenient-to-the-narrative fact being much overlooked. He has both the skillz (obviously) of a champion and the mind of a champion (not apparent at all until recently), but it isn't going to be easy or automatic to get anywhere near the GOAThood projections for his career.
I put the O/U on games played by him at about 600. As youthful as he is all three of his seasons have shown a propensity for injury, and that body seems severely vulnerable to breaking down, to not carrying the load over the long haul. Thinking Bol, Sampson, Ming, Mureson, Nevitt, Burleson, Breuer, Edey, etc. On the other side Eaton, Smits, Bradley, maybe a couple more were pretty good iron men. (In fact on the list of NBA iron men we did recently I think we left off Eaton and Laimbeer. Laimbeer missed something like 11 games thru his first 13 seasons, 12 straight 80 game seasons, 6 straight 82.)
I'd make O/U on titles for Wemby as a full time player at two. Let it hap'n, cap'n.
Brunson o6.5 assists
Hart 9+ reb
Towns o16.5 pts
Bridges o11.5 pts
+900 --> +1125 with DK 25% Boost
I don't think the Knicks even want to be ahead in the early going of this one. That's going to piss off the whole state of Texas. Better draft on this one and try to hang. 😀
Hart gonna need to hit some 3s to loosen up this D
someone tell wompy he doesn't need to fade on his 3s. you're like twenty feet tall bro, aint nobody blockin that ****
also probably doesn't need to jump out there ever, especially on d. just run around with your hands straight up and you're good
Mike Brown screwing up the Kornet minutes by allowing Hack-a-mitch to kill them atleast once in this series was a mortal lock
Knicks getting jobbed pretty hard by the refs
I can't believe I am saying this, but KAT has been the series MVP so far.
wompy downgraded to wilpy
i mean you're getting punked by kat, man. KAT
MEOW
KAT has been reborn.
He is KAT DADDY MEOW.
Harper for Fox needs to happen yesterday
Wemby really needs to focus on facing up more a la Durant.
it's joever
Refs having given the Spurs a nice comeback/chance by taking out KAT for now...
