also rodman couldn't pass or score.

So she's the all time assist leader already even though we all know her game is way better than even been seen yet. Hopefully barring injury. What happens if she gets a coach that let's her be Caitlin? What happens if the Fever find player who can shoot and finish? She'd be getting like 20 assists and 25 points at least a game and winning every championship. But maybe Caitlin never speaks up and has to continue to be reigned in by Stephanie White. Imagine if Caitlin leaves what she could do for the teams close to winning chamiionships? That actually have good or great coaches?

She can't pass or score either. She just tries to score and pass more than Rodman because Rodman knew his lane. He knew his job was to rebound and play defense. Angel wants to try and prove i got an offensive game but she really doesn't. Did you see the 1st half yesterday? She was throwing balls into the stands. She even took a 3 lol. Angel you have players on your team to shoot 3's. Her and Draymond Green like to shoot 3's but it's not the best offensive strategy. I will say she is better at offense than Rodman. But it prolly hurts her team more because Rodman knew not to shoot. Rodman's scoring efficieny was better than Jordan and Steph Curry. He only shot put backs. Once in a blue moon he's try to shoot a mid-range jumper and it would be an air ball and he was like sorry guys my bad. I'll get back to what i'm good at.

Btw Angel Reece's rebounds are 3 times what they should be because whenever she gets an offensive rebound she tries putting it back up and keeps missing and getting her own rebound at least twice. 1 inch is out of her shooting range. That being said she is a greta rebounder. If she realizes stop with the nonsense that you have and offensive gameshe'll be more efficient. Sure keep shooting the put backs but that's it. I wish her all the best but do what you're good at. Leave the offense to offensive players.

I think Stephanie White is a good basketball coach.

saw cameron brink playing for the first time, it was not good, she looked panicked and rushed to get rid of the ball any time she got 5 turnovers in just 17 minutes as a center... mostly from horrific decision making

Let her come to the Fever and Caitlin will make her look like Wemby! And she would seal up that defense some.

pretty hard to be underrated when everyone was a FA before the season, and players that would have made the list like Jess Shepherd got paid.

Coach White was asked after the game why did you take out Boston, Caitlin, and Lexi Hull so quickly at the 6:30 point of the first quarter whn things were going so well and the game just started? Her answer was well Boston is still on a minutes restriction for her injury. And we usually take Caitlin out at that time of the first quarter.

Firstoff Boston has never been subbed out that quick since she's been back. And the last time they played portland was the game Caitlin didn't play due to her back issues. The Fever were up like 20 points midway into the 4th quarter and Boston was still playing. I was surprised why she didn't sit her down as that was when she first came back.

Second, why do you usually take Caitlin Clarke out/your superstar 3 minutes and 30 seconds into the 1st quarter?

Also shows White screaming at Caitlin on the bench like she's a rookie trying to make the team humiliating Caitlin for all to see. Then points to Raven to take Caitlin's spot benching Caitlin then slams her clipboard down. Who talks to their franchise player like that? White has brainwashed Caitlin into thinking it's ok for White to treat her like that. Caitlin with one press conference could have you fired. If Caitlin says i think my career is being derailed here with this coach so i'm leaving things would change fast.

Caitlin was expected to sign a contract with the Fever next year. Unless they fire White Caitlin should leave the Fever and sign with a team that will appreciate and help their franchise player succeed and win.

White probably gets fired though as the Caitlin and Fever fan bases wanted her fired before, now it's 100 times even more they want her gone.

Caitlin does seem to complain a lot, to refs and coaches. in her defense, she has had terrible coaches.

also it must be so frustrating to have like 2-3 assists erased per game cuz teammates can't handle her passes/make layups. and getting attacked so much on defense.

i'd imagine that being a superstar talent does tend to make relationships with coaches and refs tricky.

I agree with all of your points except the last sentence. It usually is less tricky being a superstar talent dealing with coaches and refs. You're usually given the utmost respect and benefit of the doubt when dealing with coaches and refs. Like jordan didn't need to complain because the refs gave him the calls. Some say gave him even more calls than he deserved. So he didn't need to complain. And of course Jordan didn't need to worry about a head coach or assistant coaches yelling at you only(only you meaning White doesn't berate Boston or Mitchell ever like that while they've been bad too. And neither of them are as good as Caitlin) in public, or anywhere, and humiliating you. But for Caitlin she's treated exactly the opposite of that with this coaching staff and the refs.

I only paid so much attention to last night's game because it was obvious by the end of the first quarter that the Fevers didn't have it, but the last play before the end of the first kinda encapsulates the problem - they have no idea what they're doing. They shift into a zone, Van Slooten and Mitchell converge on the player with the ball at the top of the key, easy pass to the post, uncontested layup.

Also: It would be nice to be able to ask Clark why she kept turning down threes, she only took 2 for the game. Sure, she didn't have that many wide open looks, but that usually doesn't stop her from rising and firing from deep.

Yes they're a terrible defense. But you can make adjustments to protect Clarke from getting into foul trouble. She gets 5 fouls a game and has to go to the bench every game.

Whose fault is it that the defense is confused and terrible? Stephanie White was brought in because she was called a defensive guru.

She wasn't shooting 3's for a few reasons... She was benched for alot of the game due to fouls then White benched her to humilate her. So the little time on the court she couldn't get into a rythm to feel confident shooting. Also White has made Caitlin to feel like we don't want you shooting your 3's unless you're completely wide open which will never happen as she's doubled whenever she gets the ball. Only chance for Caitlin to be wide open is on a fast break and even then she's gonna pass half the time as soemtimes other players are open on the break as well. White wants Caitlin to give the ball to Boston and Mitchell.

Why is Caitlin the only person on the team being humiliated by White's tirades on the sideline while Mitchell and Boston have been awful as well? Especially when Caitlin is the franchise player while Mitchell and Boston are just good players, but not franchise players.

During the broadcast one of the announcers said she spoke to White and White said the team is faster when Raven is the point guard instead of Caitlin. Insinuating Raven is better at the point than Caitlin? So trade Caitlin then if you think Raven is better. You obviously can't stand Caitlin so free yourself of this player you seem to think hurts your team. Maybe some coaches might want to have Caitlin Clarke be their point guard.

Btw i don't think White said instead of Caitlin. But Caitlin's the point guard so when White says we're fater when Raven is the point guard the assumption she's insulting Caitlin again right?

On nbc just now the in studio hosts at halftime of the wnba game between the Aces and Valkerie talked about the video of White screaming at Caitlin and the host in the middle says paraphrasing in case not exact words but almost positive this is exact words... "it's boiling over and it's being seen. It's one thing for it to be behind closed doors but when it spils over.." Now you think she's gonna say White shouldn't have done that to her star player in public instead says this..."and when the coach has to say, hey you know what Caitlin enough is enough! This is too disruptive, in and out, take a seat!!!!!!!" Meaning Caitlin take a seat on the bench as you're being disruptive and it's time to be disciplined lol. Oh then the host that said the take a seat then says paraphrasing again this part as can't remember exact words but.."then Mitchell had to say to Caitlin get up go over here, get out of the way." Like saying Mitchell was also scolding Caitlin get out of the way our team needs to focus now so go over there away from us. I doubt that last part happened the way the host said it but if so who is Mitchell to tell Caitlin what to do? But again this host is just being negatively biased against Caitlin so i really doubt that part with Mitchell really happened the way the host wants us to believe.

What did Caitlin do? She was just sitting there getting chewed out by her head coach. The coach didn't yell at the team to play better it was a verbal tongue lashing directed only at Caitlin. But this in studio host says Caitlin was the problem commending White for putting Caitlin in her place and on the bench. Then i thought Sue Bird would stand up for Caitlin and say well it was White doing all the talking not Caitlin. But instead says "i agree".

The negative bias of the whole media against Caitlin Clarke is so ridiculous. I should have known Bird would agree with that horrible take by the other host. As Bird and white are uconn huskies. Bird's gonna have White's back no matter what. I never seen a panel on tv do such a negative piece at halftime on one of the best players in the league, especially when it was the coach who was at fault for the disruptive scene.

I didn't realize that was Cheryl Miller who said those terrible takes on nbc on that it was Caitlin's fault in the video. That saddens me as she was one of the very few who was in Caitlin's corner in the past when Caitlin received negative criticism. Now Caitlin has zero people who will stand up for her. Cheryl Miller always seemed cool but this is disapointing to see her go this route. Cheryl probably got alot of negative comments about her when she supported Caitlin in the past so now she's joining in on the club of criticizing Caitlin. maybe to stop the negative comments she probably received from the people who want to tear down Caitlin.
