Connections NYTimes game thread, very official
Connections is a cool NYTimes game but you may have to pay to play along. You start with 16 items and try to guess the c
The colours/difficulties is a bit of a joke these days. Granted purple will tend to be more difficult than yellow, but not always. Purple and blue are often (usually) interchangeable. Some days blue, green, and yellow can go in any order.
Someone was mad about pies
RIP streak
The pie day was annoying, moonpie is a thing too. I don't mind when they do the 4 connected things but it's not actually a category and it'll be 4 different categories for it, but when it's like 6/8 things work and it will be a category but with a super weird 4 combo and intentionally not the better known stuff, eh, not my favorite puzzle idea
I'm thinking about trying to make Connections type puzzles. If I do, I'll put them here in case anybody wants to try them.

my wife/kid play this. i don't. would be helpful if along with the color (whatever that means) you also put what the connection is.
I am trying to use the "colours" from the NYT game, since that's what people will expect. But, of course, it doesn't really matter.
Usual meanings:
Yellow, easiest - usually synonyms or obvious associations.
Green, slightly harder (sometimes) - less obvious synonyms or associations needing wider vocabulary (?)
Blue, harder - sometimes esoteric synonyms, things that have a common property, or like purple but easier.
Purple, hardest (sometimes) - usually with wordplay, using parts of the words, words preceding or following the same word, or words with a changed letter.
Kioshk will probably finish soon, so here is my next puzzle.
Of course he'd get bell
ugh I'm lost.
