Are they getting $15/down before or after tips? Are they getting paid at all when they are at work but not dealing?
I’ve long thought that casinos should increase their rake by $1/hand but making tipping dealers illegal.
I know from what i was told dealing in wsop tourneys a few years ago it was 15$ down and 20$ a down for mixed. and then if they wanted to deal cash at kings lounge after they would have to sign a sheet but it depend on if they needed dealers .
i am not sure if things have changed $ wise or how its done .
rio a few years ago when it moved to Caesars used to give a week for 70$ to dealers . im not sure if that is with or without resort fee . if it was whithout then that is an insane deal for dealers who traveled
No story will beat the first time dealer a couple of summers ago who thought that the color up meant that all of the chips on the table got sorted by color. In big piles all together.
So with streaming moving to Youtube for all events this year, is PokerGo throwing in the towel? I can't imagine their platform is viable going forward without WSOP content.
Hi All - just arrived in Vegas and I have registered my Wsop Live Acct and already have a Caesars rewards card. Says my last remaining step is the in person verification. I was hoping to do it this evening or anytime tomorrow but it says the registration area doesn’t open until Tuesday at 9am?!
I wanted to play the mystery bounty flight A at 12pm on Tuesday and I imagine the registration line will be an absolute nightmare at 9am on Tuesday.
Any ideas?

Last year the first couple days were a cluster. If I was you I would just get there at 8:30 or so and get in line. Poker players are rarely early so I don't think too many people would be lined up yet and you could probably get verified quickly and be out of there by 9:15 or so.

I contacted them recently to ask about the WSOP. They replied saying they are not showing anything from the WSOP this year but they still have all new high stakes poker, heads up championship etc.
I cancelled the re-sub cos frankly the WSOP month was by far and away the best part of it. I did watch the other stuff throughout the year but its not gonna get me to keep up an annual subscription. I enjoyed their coverage over the years though and there were some great streams so it's sad to see it go.
I hope the YouTube coverage is just as good and they bring back LON AND NORM for the Main Event. Going by https://www.wsop.com/news/2026-world-ser... looks like they have.

While I never put up with dealer abuse, and the WSOP is absolutely responsible for putting out completely rookie dealers , im always shocked that someone would agree to deal in a tournament if they didnt know what they were doing, let alone be unable to shuffle cards. If it were me, id say "no way, they are playing for too much money im too afraid to **** that up. "
Agree, but I wonder if they even grasp the difference, maybe to someone who has no clue what the WSOP is, it's no different than if they were dealing Caribbean in the pit.

Someone might be able to point you to a better spot, but the WSOP LIVE app should have what you're looking for.

Same here, much more cumbersome to check on phone when I am working. Seems PokerNews have some limited coverage, but WSOP have nothing on their website.
Pokernews will have the coverage. But yes, I don't understand why they don't mirror most of the app info in a web interface.
Chip counts, prize pool and so on. Must be a pretty simple script to implement.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but it looks like buying in through the app by credit card or PayPal has a 2% fee this year. Still no fee for ACH bank transfer.
I mean, LHE is almost certainly more commonly spread than any game after NLHE and PLO. So, compared to stud and draw variants, and even mixed games, LHE is more popular. That said, LHE, Stud, Razz, and 2-7 TD each have a $1.5k and a $10k, and I don't really see LHE as being popular enough to deserve 50% more events, especially given that it is exceedingly unpopular among even m
Changing to seven max seems like a stupid idea other than to ensure that the tournament ends more quickly. If that was the point, why not make it six or five or 4-max? if they again have a shortage of quality dealers, how is going seven handed going to help the situation? I think it will discourage more rec players and it changes the nature of a lot of tables and hands played. There will be less multiway pots and pot odds situations.
