This depends so much on what kind of bad they are. You could bet to set a price, or for value, check to hope for a free/cheap card to hit 2p or a flush, or c/r semi-bluff, and all could be right against the right pair of loose bad Vs. Just don't c/f unless the bet sizing is ridic.
Bet bigger on flop against fishes/whales.
Bet turn, maybe 50-80. We are going for max value. If we get raised, usually it's a snap fold but depending on price since you have bdfd now.
Agree with Garick
It depends
As dango said ‘size up’ against stations that don’t fold.
It’s hard to play OOP
In a dream game like this I might not waste my time OOP and focus on solid situations only.
The problem with checking turn is that if villain bets, you can’t be sure if it’s value or a bluff.
In general, I’m increasing the pressure on the turn. Don’t want to bet small and induce, or again you don’t know if it’s value or a bluff.
Bet $100
Now whatever villain does, it’s likely not a bluff
The story is that we have a great hand, until we meet resistance. But we want to try to make sure it’s legit resistance when facing bluffy.
H bets $140.
V folds before I could get the money across the line.
I’m trying new things. New bet sizes besides 2/3 every time. After this hand I thought I did well. But when thinking about it. What if V1 slow played a strong hand on the flop. It was very dry. Likewise a big bet will scare away a weak hand. I guess I would have charged draws max value.
Thoughts?
