GOAT NBA Discussion: Biggest fraud poster: fallguy. Super AIDS Containment thread
It's not even debatable that Pippen was a franchise player. And a far better one than Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving or Chris Bosh. Or a Luka who is cheering from the bench in sweats.
Wow I missed this post initially... It's by far the worst thing I've ever seen you post.
You're right that it isn't debatable, because Pippen clearly wasn't a franchise player and he's never been thought of as one.
The term "he's a pippen" came about to describe a secondary producer that WASN'T a top guy.
For example, Shaq isn't a "pippen"... Neither is Luka, Wade, or AD.. However, Klay is clearly a "pippen"... Middleton was a pippen... So on, and so forth.
Aside from all-time floor generals like Kidd or Magic, franchise players are typically elite scorers... Otherwise, it's hard to build great teams if everyone has to be worse than a non-dominant player and low scorer like Pippen, Klay, Jalen Williams, Middleton and other secondary producers.
It's important to note that Kukoc was 2nd on the Bulls in 4th quarter scoring for the 97' and 98' Playoffs, while Phil chose Kukoc over Pippen 5 times for game-winners during the 94' season.. The point is that nearly anyone can supplant Pippen as 1st option, thereby making it hard to build around him, or build a great team.
Pippen also entered the league as a 7 ppg rookie that needed a ton of development - no team could build around him.. A real franchise player like MJ was required to build the 88' Bulls into champions, and then the fully-developed dynasty was gifted to Pippen.. He promptly cratered the 3-peat dynasty to barely .500 in less than 18 months.
No, my favourite thing is when he says everybody ever in the history of basketball had more help than MJ, and that MJ's starting 5 included one female, one blind guy, a stick with a volleyball as a head and an inanimate carbon rod.
It's a fact that everyone in history had more help than MJ because everyone in history had teammates lead in scoring for entire playoff runs, while MJ led every SERIES, and by a margin of 10-30 ppg..
Essentially, everyone in history needed great scoring help, except MJ... You guys say "scoring isn't everything", except it's the biggest kind of help that everyone needed, except MJ.. Except the goat.
Furthermore, MJ's carrying of the offense allowed the GM to find good defenders... Similarly, the ability of Curry, Duncan and Kobe to carry the scoring load allows GM's to find the right defenders/"others", aka elite roster construction... Contrastingly, Lebron's inability to carry the scoring load requires a bunch of star help, thus preventing the procurement of defenders.
No, my favourite thing is when FG changes his mind if something doesn't work out, when he was harping on only 6 months ago that it's the most important thing in the world
Everything I've said has worked out and been true.
Drexler, Majerle, and Reggie Miller, Reggie Lewis are confirmed 6'7", while today's game has zero 6'7" SG's that start... In addition to smaller SG's, today's frontcourts are much shorter than prior eras, so MJ would face far less length in today's game.
This is just 1 example... You also claim that Jordan's roster had great defenders, except the defensive roster was made possible because MJ was carrying the offense, while being a great defender himself... If MJ wasn't a great defender himself or couldn't carry the offense, then the Bulls couldn't build a defensive roster.
Wemby has far more help right now THAN MJ EVER HAD
Jordan took the Pistons to 6 and 7 games with no help, so we'll see if Wemby does that to okc WITH help... I think he should easily beat them if he's ahead of MJ like you claim
Of course prime Jordan would win 15 straight with a cast like thale Spurs
Jordan couldn't play 10 straight, how is he winning 15 straight?
Chris Webber and Rich Eisen were agreeing that Lebron is a better option than Giannis if you want to win a title in the next few years.
Another article argued that Bronny was a great draft pick and the Lakers shouldn't pretend that he was a favor to Lebron (here).
^^^ These are actual stories that the mainstream media reported... It's pure fraud - Lebron is the biggest fraud in sports history
Jordan wasn't injured in 94'.. He could've played but chose not to.
You simply fell for propaganda and false narratives.
And btw, if Jordan had Wemby's help, he wouldn't have to carry the scoring load and therefore wouldn't need rest.. His burden would be super-light compared to his Bulls career.
Ultimately, 15 straight was only a small exaggeration.
Rich Eisen also said that OKC "sharpened their knives" by facing Lebron.
Lmao
NOTHING is further from the truth.
The exact opposite is true, where OKC hasn't been tested yet and therefore could get caught off-guard in future rounds.
To be fair, Isiah owned MJ's soul.
Phil Jackson winning with Kobe just shows MJ was a system player and not that special. Probably could have replaced him with Drexler or Reggie and still won 6 chips.
People are saying that putting Lebron on the Cavs makes them a title team.
ARE YOU GUYS THAT DUMB?
42-year old Lebron is going to bring an James Harden a title?
Lebron would be lottery with a "normal" roster of 1 franchise player where he's the only franchise player on the team - the only reason that he's made the playoffs for the last 7 years is because the league gave him a franchise player teammate and the only team with 2 franchise players.. Otherwise, he's been a lottery player since 2019.
It should be obvious that if Lebron went to OKC (let alone the Cavs), he would destroy that team, chemistry, defense and franchise..
All of a sudden Lou Dort and AJ Mitchell wouldn't look so good anymore and the Thunder would need more help - WE'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE - respected players turn to trash alongside him... OKC's defense would crater from 1st to last... Chet would be destroyed like Bosh, Love and Jamison.
This is the historical record... This stuff is obvious, so it's amazing that he's still reported on as a winner, when he's been a massive loser, cancer and annual trainwreck in the playoffs
Players that have winning records against Jordan in the playoffs:
Isiah
Bird
Players that owned Lebron:
Duncan
Curry
Jokic
Ant
Dwight
Booker
Dirk
Pierce
Billups
Lebron never avenged upset losses to 1-star teams like Dirk, Dwight, Ant and Booker... The 1-star teams upset Lebron, while the good teams beat him by record amount or sweep.
Ultimately, Jordan never lost with help, while Lebron's super-teams and preseason favorites were swept or beaten by record amount.. Jordan was more competitive with lottery rosters than Lebron was with super-teams.
not in the playoffs still: Pluggy
in the playoffs still: lol...James Harden

And you might say "who dafuq is Mase?".. But the point is that casuals like Mase learn this crap from mainstream media and their myths about Lebron.

You got Lebron laughing after getting swept, while this is what a goat looks like:
In before FG says that Isiah once said MJ was the GOAT. You know. At the Finals. Where NBC would have said "promote the game and say that MJ is the best ever".
This is Isiah being bitter that Jordan kept him off the dream team. So wanted to give Jordan a little dig saying Lebron was better.
There's always some reason something doesn't count when it doesn't fit your argument.
Or i'm telling the truth? You really think Isiah thinks Lebron was better than Jordan? I mean nobody really believe's that Lebron was better. They only say it because they don't like Jordan or Love lebron so try to help him. Isiah and Jordan had a strong dislike for each other. Rumor was Jordan said he wouldn't play for the dream team if Isiah was on the team. So they decided to leave Isiah off the team. Which Isiah would never forget.
I never fit any argument. I just speak the truth. I asked above anyone's argument of how Lebron was a better basketball player than Jordan. I got crickets. No respeonses. Because everyone knows there is no argument. So instead of saying how Lebron was better just put up misleading stats and quote's from former players that had beef with Jordan. Or players that didn't want to be disrespectful to lebron so said it was close. But everyone knows it isn't close. Still a great career for lebron. But he's not close to Jordan.
All due respect, but Jordan over Lebron is the most obvious winning argument in the history of the world.
There are more examples of Lebron fans making excuses because there's a lot more to make excuses for..
Lebron lost far more and WITH help (preseason favorites, Finals teams, top seeds, all-star teammates, etc).
Heck, Lebron couldn't make the Finals and had to team up with opposing franchise players to win the East... And he just went 1 for 7 with Luka or AD.
This is the tip of the iceberg - the list of things to make excuses for is endless.. People say he had the best career but it's actually the worst... aka the most bad playoff losses BY FAR, the biggest loser on the championship level, he needed to team-up to make the Finals, and he has the most turnovers, the most missed shots, etc, etc
People would have a better chance of winning an argument that Spud Webb was better than Wembyana. Spud had skills. Meaning anyone can argue a point to make their person look good. But reality is we all know whose better between Jordan vs lebron and Wemby vs Webb.
The biggest problem with making excuses for Lebron in the goat debtate is that if you're saying that MJ just got lucky, then what's the excuse for Lebron producing vastly inferior teams to Duncan, Curry, Kobe and Bird - did they just get lucky too??.. Why did peers in his own era produce all the soaring dynasties and not Lebron's super-teams/team-ups with opposing franchise players?
Everyone gets it at this point, aka Lebron fans claim that MJ was lucky to have teammates like Pippen and Phil carry him to FMVP's and victory every night.. But what's the excuse for Curry, Duncan, Bird, and Kobe, who produced vastly superior teams than Lebron as well??... why did SO MANY OTHER ALL-TIMERS produce vastly superior teams than Lebron???... Did they all just get lucky like MJ and land in the perfect situation?... OF COURSE NOT..... 25 years shows that Lebron and his "bron-ball" skillset - i.e. high-scoring primary-ballhandling, aka ball-domination - simply produces inferior teams for all the reason discussed itt.. His standard was to barely wins 50 games with the preseason favorite, thereby falling to perennial underdog and a lottery record on the championship level - that's what he did when he had help.
