Ignoring foul trouble 100% isn’t optimal but it’s much closer to optimal than whatever the coaches do now, much less what they used to do 10-20 years ago. It’s sort of how always going for it on 4th and short isn’t optimal in football but it’s way better than whatever coaches used to do (I haven’t followed football in 10+ years but afaik coaches are a lot less terrible at this

depends on the player i think

celts needed queta in there down the stretch vs embiid with how shorthanded they already were, can't really just let him foul out which he would've. Towns is similar, he kinda has to sit for the most part cause he will foul out. Jaren Jackson, those types of foul prone players.

Someone like SGA should be able to play with 4 vs the Lakers but I guess OKC is playing with such a big margin of error why risk it.

I 100% believe Peterson’s creatine story and I cannot believe his people had him taking it, and yes he could’ve died, had a stroke, permanently damaged his kidneys, etc.

An 18yo potential first overall nba pick superfreak athlete built like a 25yo megadosing creatine in 2025. Un****ing believable.

Also lol potty mouth Sam Mitchell and lol espn barely censoring “mfer”.

Storm the floor
LCA wants it more
Pistons in 4

Don’t sweat OG’s hamstring
Mikal Bridges’ offense will bring
The Knicks closer to winning a ring

I don't believe there's some conspiracy. But I do hate when players or teams intentionally hunt rule exploits that make the game less fun to watch. This is supposed to be entertainment, but I'm not having fun watching players get injured from dirty play and an OKC team that plays like FIFA players on offense, and thugs on defense, and gets away w/ it.

And honestly, that SGA play on Reaves last night, should have been a flagrant 2. Shoulder socket is no joke. I tore my rotator cuff playing bball, and the other one golfing, and it takes years, including physical therapy, to recover from. I cringed when I saw that play.

Creatine definitely gives me muscle cramps if I take anything more than a couple of grams a day. I've taken it on and off but mostly on for over 30 years.

Embiid is like

sixers down 0-3

OKC is nothing but a bunch of angleshooting thugs.
Wemby surprised me a bit when I first heard him talk about unethical basketball.. but man was he spot on.
OKC is a disgrace to the sport of basketball.

Spurs on the other hand are simply beautiful to watch play.
Wemby on defense is top notch entertainment.

Supposedly he was taking 20g a day.

silver has told the refs to let them play way too aggressively
i get it that playoff intensity should be a real thing
but when people are literally fouling nearly every damn play its kind of silly and devolves to not truly be basketball anymore

So Wemby is good at basketball

So Wemby is good at basketball

he played like he was the GOAT tonight.

looks like i will be losing money on spurs -3.5 for gm 3

ant doesnt look close to 100%, ayo reinjured, ddv out, shannon/conley starting

just think lot of what Minn is doing is starting to dry up, hate to buy a team off a 45pt win so we will see

Ant looked a lot better and Ayo played pretty well too but didn't matter

.

for the love of all basketball holiness lets get the Spurs to advance and ELIMINATE THE CHEATING THUNDER PIECES OF SHITS

I hate it, but don't feel bad it's happening against the Lakers with how much Lebron has been flopping his entire career.

But the solution is simple.

Have all fouls reviewed after the game. If it's determined there was no contact/someone flopped. Fine the flopper $100k. If someone has 5 flops in a season. Suspend them for 3 games. Each additional flop after the 5th = automatic 1 game suspension

cry more, lolkers. seriously how embarrassing after an 18-point loss where sga only played 28 minutes bc of foul trouble. shameless bitches

Foul trouble is one of the dumbest things that I've never understood. SGA finished the game with 4 fouls. So teams just punish themselves by taking a player out, when the only penalty is that he might eventually be forced to come out. Mak

by King~of~Diamonds

Well you can stay on the court and just get attacked relentlessly or you can take the pine and think about not fouling for a few minutes

by Carnivore

I've yet to see anyone ever explain legitimately how anything is better than just playing your regular rotation and ignoring "foul trouble" until somebody actually fouls out.

yes i never understood the "he's in foul trouble, we need to take him out" mindsetso... to avoid the punishment of not having that player on the court... you're going to... checks notes... take the player off the court voluntarily?like i get it, they want to have him in crunch timebut wouldn't it be better to get 28 minutes with the guy fouling out early in the 4th quarter than

I’m not going to dig through the archives but I was screaming about this 20+ years ago. It would make no intuitive sense to a Martian or mail order bride. “But they have more points when he play.” It’s literally a Futurama episode.

It's incredibly painful sometimes. I can remember watching the 76ers when their entire offense was Iverson. Then he'd get into 'foul trouble' in the first half. Play 10 minutes less than usual while the team was a disaster with him off the court. Then he'd end the game with 3 fouls because he got none in the 2nd half.

In a playoff game.

The whole thing is sickening but I gotta admit I'm a fan of watching blatant riggage against the Lakers. The Lakers literally have 3 championships due to straight riggage (1988 vs Pistons, 2000 vs Portland, and 2002 vs Sac).

All that said, I despise OKC and SGA. Just terrible for the game.

yeah guys totally, the nba is rigging everything for *checks notes* oklahoma city against *checks notes* labald jormes and the los angeles lakers. definitely. this is how they win. i am very smart

Whatever you wanna call it, it needs to be addressed and fixed immediately.

yeah for sure, okc beating the lolkers by 18 points needs to be addressed and fixed immediately !!!

Really, when did this start? I ask because I always associated my bodily pains to sparring and training so extensively at such an advanced middle-age, but I might have to factor in creating intake, albeit I still doubt it, at least in my case (and yes, in general, unless overtaking it...).
