I am curious what the weekly NLHE poker tourney every Monday morning is like.

Is it a turbo, or is the structure deep with lots of play?

What is the typical size of the field?

What is the caliber of the players?

Any insight will be appreciated.

First 8 levels structure is decent , but after registration is close before starting of level 9 is turbo . They need tables for cash games .

Around 200-250 players but when big series WSOP or MSPT is around under 200

It really depends of the day there are some regulars and crushers but again when the big series are around is way softer , also you will found some cash players , they don't have any idea what they are doing in tournaments .

They're getting 200+ players for a Monday morning daily???

Most of the times yes .

Lots of older players? Don't these people have jobs?!

Does security scan everyone's ID when entering?

I just renewed my license and applied for the Real ID today which takes 5-10 business days to receive. I am leaving Monday to drive from PA to CA to visit family and will be making stops at various casinos along the way and they said my current license will no longer scan which I did not think would be an issue beacuse I'm 40 and bald and never get carded at my home casino or generally in public. I didnt think about venues that scan everyone.

Im also hitting casinos in Iowa and South Dakota if anyone knows of places that scan everyone who enters.

No (at least not 6 months ago). I am also 40 and bald and always just walk straight in.
