President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Blahblah’s slavish devotion to regeanomics (a proven failure), Fox News (proven far right propaganda that defines itself as entertainment to avoid more libel suits beyond what they’ve been forced to pay out for 2020), and trump (a proven snake oil salesman of limited intelligence) and not being able to argue a single point without regurgitating what fox or trump tells him to believe should be an immediate disqualifier for anyone to engage him in anything other than mockery

If Fox News upsets you so much you should stop watching it though Shannon Breem on Fox News Sunday is a straight shooter

I'm glad MSNOW has never used that argument to win a libel case

The Rachel Maddow Defense (TM Pending)

Didn't work for Tucker either.

this helps to show what a ****ing idiot you are.

"FOX News Sunday, anchored by Shannon Bream, is a one-hour live broadcast that airs Sunday mornings across the nation on FOX Broadcasting Company"

This show is on the BROADCAST network which...wait for it...must follow rules about not lying or face losing their broadcast license.

When was the last time you saw Hannity or Waters or Tucker back in the day on Fox News Sunday? That's right, never happened...they cannot afford to have them lying on the broadcast network.

Comparing the two shows, again, how much of a ****ing idiot you are.

So your theory is that the Dems somehow managed to cause inflation by .... shutting down the entire global supply chain due to a global pandemic

No, my theory is exactly what I said in the post you were responding to. Rewritten below to remind you:

“Every single dem fought their tails off to shut down the economy, massively increase handouts and print money faster. The same can not be said about repubs.”

The US economy is the dog and the rest of the world’s economy is our tail. Dems worked their tails off shutting down the dog and the ROtW shutting down their economies hurt but not as much as you think.

by coordi

But you think its a big mystery why the money supply has ballooned ~75% under the two Trump administrationsYou conveniently left off the PPP scam which is confirmed to be the largest single instance of fraud in all of known history Like, you have zero logic or reason to your opinion. Just feels and being completely wrong about everything. It would be incredible if it wasn't s

The money supply was going up 3x its normal rate during Covid because dems fought their tails off to give away as much money as they could and the fed wanted to encourage such handouts so they printed the money. No I don’t think this is a mystery.

The pandemic shut down the economy, not the democrats.

Intellectually feeble-minded and emotionally fragile folks enjoy insulting people they disagree with.

The pandemic shut down the economy, not the democrats.

right. the Democrats should be applauded for opening the economy back up despite the pandemic raging all through 2021 and 2022.

by Gorgonian

The pandemic shut down the economy, not the democrats.

Millions of businesses shut down because of laws that dems pushed. It was the govts overreaction to the pandemic that shut these businesses down not covid itself. No illness has ever written a law or forced police officers to go around forcing the shutdown of businesses.

by Victor

Dems fought their tails off trying to keep parts of the economy closed for as long as possible. This is a well known fact that is not debatable in an age of cell phones, social media and the internet. Gorg thinks we were all born yesterday.

Because of the pandemic, not because of "laws that dems pushed." You sound really stupid saying stuff like that. When people laugh at you here, this crap is why.

This is just crap fox news and newsmax fed you and you believe. What's funny to me is your nose was and likely is so buried in this pile of rubbish that you are in shock not everyone thinks this. Yeah, my guy. There's a whole world outside of newsmax and OAN. It's called reality.

"Fought their tails off to keep the economy closed" is just pure stupidity.

Businesses that closed closed because people weren't going out. Because there was a pandemic, not because democrats were roaming around the streets barricading people in. This is ridiculous. So far the evidence you offered to support this stupid claim is "This is a well known fact that is not debatable in an age of cell phones, social media and the internet. Gorg thinks we were all born yesterday. "

Proof by just look at it where "it" is fox news.

The new Michigan consumer confidence survey hit an all time low. Trump's policies of causing inflation, unemployment and subsidizing bad businesses doesn;t seem to be working.

I wonder what happened between 2020 and 2022 that made it feasible for the economy to be reopened.

The State of California lost a lawsuit because of their unlawful shutdown of houses of worship. And another court ruled that Governor Newsom had insufficient grounds to continue his Covid-related State of Emergency. (Citations available upon request.)

But blah blah says it is the democrats fault that we have inflation, gas prices are so high and that we are at war.

Corporations getting a tax break is a huge win for the working poor/middle class. That lowers the costs of corporations which gets passed down to the owners, workers and customers.

Yeah... the middle class getting a huge win from corporate tax breaks is why I have one family a couple of months behind on rent and another family substantially behind on rent.

by bahbahmickey

I think trump and DOGE faced far more blowback about shrinking the size of govt than expected. I think they grossly underestimated the fraud and the other non-fraud but BS money govt spends

BS money the government spends like spending $60 million on Kash's trips to hang out with his girlfriend... or spending $200 million on some jets for Kristi to join the mile high club... or spending $100 million on Trump's golf excursions, or are you talking about other BS money? How about those golden Trump arches?

by bahbahmickey

In saying that WSJ published an article 7 days ago that said the fed workforce is down 11.7% since the start of his 2nd term which is a massive win for the working class.

How is this a massive win for the working class? Are those employees part of the working class?

Put in dollars how much that 11.7% saved taxpayers and then minus the nearly $50 billion spent so far on a war 7000 miles away and tell us how the taxpayers are winning.

by bahbahmickey

There is an incredible amount of fraud and waste in all things the govt does and SNAP and healthcare is no different.

So just claim it's all fraud without any proof? Oh yeah, that's right... I'm talking to a 2020 election denier.

by bahbahmickey

We can get into tariffs if you'd like. I'd argue the avg working class family was not seriously effected by tariffs for the better or worse. There were definitely some winners and losers when it comes to tariffs but very few of them, if any, were the poor to middle class.

So are you denying that tariffs raise costs to American companies and most of those costs are passed on to the consumer? Right...

by bahbahmickey

Market manipulation? I'd like to respond to this, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

Srs? $950 million was just bet on the price of oil dropping shortly before Trump made his "ceasefire" announcement. Just luck, right?

That's just this week - it's been going on since he took office with the highest being the dump and $1.5 billion in S&P 500 futures bought 15 minutes before Trump's announcement on March 23rd.

I mean, not a single serious person can deny the blatant insider trading. And being that Trump keeps fluctuating his positions, it's intentional market manipulation and dude was pimping stock ticker symbols on his Truth Social.

by bahbahmickey

LOL saying he ripped people off for being a meme coin. I am sure they over paid for the coin. People over pay for stuff everyday.

He owned 80% of the coin and 90% (lmao) of Melania coin. It was a rug pull. Lol at trying to have a serious conversation that a meme is a ****ing tangible asset.

by bahbahmickey

Yeah, we can talk about how the world is safer now that we bombed the **** out of Iran.

Well, that's yours, John's, and Doyle's opinion, but I think Joe Kent and Tulsi actually know better since they have access to US intelligence reports and they say you're full of chit.

by corpus vile

Yeah you just got to be convicted Federally of a crime, is how I understand it?

A president can issue a preemptive blanket pardon. For example, Jimmy Carter gave every draft dodger a preemptive blanket pardon, so no charges could be brought. Another would be Biden giving his family a preemptive blanket pardon.
