What's the deal with sandwiches?
Eggs had their day in the sun, and cereal already made it's splash. Now it's time to celebrate an old standby, the sandw

Are you ever coming back to Houston? Or just becoming fluent in French?
beautiful toast on the bread and appears to be gooey cheese
let's catch up later after listing 57 reasons that dog don't hunt, starting with 1. puffs not curls and 2. sauce not soup
please tell me it was at least room temperature
Spoiler
also please pm the new brain strainer you discovered, seems fun

+1
Tomato soup with pepper.
Still looks nice.
Looks good but you definitely owe 5 hail sandos for the white bread.
I'm curious if there is a definite list of no party foul white bread sandwiches?
Grilled cheese?
Tuna/egg salad?
PBJ
Tea sandwiches with crust cut off if British?
Anything else?
nobody cuts white bread slices into a corner
pimento cheese
and all the ways mom used to trick pa by mixing green can parm dust, diced green onion tops (never chives) and just enough sticky mayo keeping it all together for spreading atop wonder bread squares put under a broiler until blistering of some surface occurred
It was a whim, that turned out nearly perfect. Needed to document.

I don't know if this is a mid-west/Pac Northwest thing (could be either), but cold ketchup for dipping the hot grilled cheese sammich into is a requirement, especially in Az where the temps are already into the 80s. Soup weather was briefly last month.
I do like a can o' Campbell's Tomato with my GC, sometimes. I spice it up with a little Italian seasoning, some crushed reds and a generous grind of black pepper, of course. Sometimes I use lemon pepper seasoning, but we haven't had that around the house for 5+ years.
I’ve given up on Friday pizza here but I can get decent baguettes with good burrata. Made a sandwich per this vid and added some mortadella. It was much better than local pizza place and maybe a little cheaper. A bit messy I’m going to use the rest of the ingredients with pasta instead of bread. Good way to get that carb, cheese tomato fix.

That looks great.
Nit, that looks damn good!
went a week or so and got the #99 from a location new to me at a college campus. disappointing lack of ingredients and didn't want to bother with a shame pic.
Paid too much for a "rainier" sandwish at QFC. One of those from the deli display witht he fancy boos chopping boards
seasoned chicken or turkey, red onion, avocado (yuck, removed this) some kind of cheese, random slightly wilted lettuce, and the surprise winner: green bell pepper!
I've never made a sandwich with bell pepper. I'm a fan! However, I'm not sure if its worth spending a buck and change for a few thin slices.
Subway offered bell peppers as a topping option.
Reheated in me air fryer
love red bell on a sandwich, green is ok as well
I don't think I've put bell pepper on a regular cold sandwich, but onions and bell peppers on a meatball sandwich are grreat.
glorious
Been eating a lot of these lately. That’s how I’ve been using that huge bag of chicken.
Got 5 lbs of pork shoulder marinating for cuban-style pork. My first time dealing with that much meat!
Luckily the recipe is super simple: orange juice, lime, salt, brown sugar, pepper, bay leaves for the marinade.
Tomorrow I'll sear it on all sides, then in the slow cooker. I'll quarter an onion and caramelize so that they are like onion petals.
Baguette I can get at trader joes, romaine lettuce.
So it's:
Bread + meat + mayo + lettuce + pickles jalapenos
looking forward to the results
might as well try a full cubano if you have the extra rations
