President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
Trump chickens out and gets nothing accomplished with Iran for a war we started after tweeting like lunatic in just another embarrassing act on the world stage and these guys want to take about Biden pressers. Gfy.
you know me, Trump supporter all the way
Oh my god! Joe Scarborough? The MSN host? He told a LIE?!???!?
Thanks for reminding me that some guy I never heard of told a LIE about Biden. I can't believe I almost leaned Dem for a moment. A LIE?!?! My world is shaken
Joe lied to me and I was shaken to the core. At least George Clooney wasn't fooled.
BDS strikes again. Rent-free in the hearts and minds.
Dropping bombs and threatening to wipe out a country <> sniffing hair? Another hour, another clown college participant.
example 4134214 of this "anti-Imperialist totally not a Democrat" poster defending Joe Biden
also disgusting when he slaughtered 100s of thousands of Palestinian kids in concert with the Jewish State of Israel.
It was only about 50k people and most were terrorists or terrorist supporters. This over two years in a heavily dense place. Pretty good. I’d say the IDF is the most moral army in the world.

Trump is taking action against an enemy that has killed Americans and terrorized the world for 47 years. Yes I’d say that is much better than sniffing little girls hair.

Well creepy Biden is the reason Trump won a second term. If he would have bowed out of the race earlier and if you would have run a reasonable candidate maybe things would be different for you. Maybe you wouldn’t be so angry!
I cannot support that statement 100% but I for sure agree with the last part. Dementia can absolutely exacerbate sociopathology, in as much as neurodegnerative damage affects impulse control and empathy (etc.)bvFTD (Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Dementia) is absolutely associated with sociopathic behavior (though less common in Alzheimers). Alzheimer's can cause paranoia, d
Yes, I was going to mention this. These types of dementia are obviously bad news for anyone, however in people with aggressive or antisocial tendencies, it can be very bad news and dangerous for people around them. It may effectively disable learned behavior to control or inhibit dangerous tendencies.
Dementia usually makes us think of old and / or fragile people, and we often find old people less scary or threatening. That is a notion we need to dispel, as it is not true often enough to be a problem.
A by-product of developed societies becoming better at keeping people healthy and alive is also that we get far more of these types of patients to deal with. That is a healthcare debate which is ignored far too often.
Biden on his worst day is still far more fit to be president than trump on his best. Go figure.
The only thing before anyone even rationally responds in that do you ever have regrets about voting for Trump is to firstly acknowledge that Trump runs rings around Biden and when we were comparing Biden's cognitive state and people were saying Trump is just as bad got this demonstrably wrong. You watch an interview with Trump 15 years ago and you can hardly tell a difference. You watch something with Biden 15 years ago and compare to his last few years and he should be in a dementia ward. Like night and day. So until that is at least acknowledged there is no question to be asked if you have regrets. Bill Maher summed it up perfectly and I probably have linked to this before back in May 2024 at 3.00 -
Trump has gone nuts, more than obv. The bloke is a danger to the US and should be removed asap. I'm not living in the US, but if I would, I'd really go the extra mile to get him out of office!

Biden wasn't on the ballot in 2024, so why are you bringing him up?
Trump already had a shitty term under his belt and ended it in 25th Amendment fashion. Anyone who voted for Trump in 2024 voted to pick up where we left off in 2020.
Voting for Trump in 2016, is okay, whatever - you got conned into thinking a billionaire who shits in gold toilets has the common man's interests at heart. Voting for Trump in 2020, is okay, that's stupid. Voting for Trump in 2024 is just ******ed.

What a banger, so catchy

Trump doubling the standard deduction was the second greatest thing a president has done for the working poor/lower middle class family since I have been alive. The first is cutting the size and scope of the federal govt.
The fact that he is #1 and #2 on the list of biggest things to help the working class makes me think he does in fact care about the common man's interest. I am sure there is some debate about the order of the top 10 biggest single things a president has done in the last 50 years for the working class, but these two things should be on everyone's list and both should be very high. Care to name a few things you think should be on the list higher than these two?

Clapping seal ITT.
He gave those tax cuts for 6 years. The only reason he did so was because the main objective was to pass a bill that gave a permanent corporate tax break from 34% to 21% so he needed a bargaining chip. How is that looking out for the working class when corporations get a huge permanent tax break and the plebs get a 6-year break? DOGE was a hilarious failure.
The BBB took over $1 trillion from SNAP and healthcare benefits to give to top and in order to do that, he had to make the standard deduction permanent.
Should we get into tariffs? Should we talk about market manipulation? Should we talk about ripping off his own supporters with a meme coin two days before inauguration? Should we talk about the costs of wars 7000 miles away?

How do you reconcile this with life getting increasingly more expensive, directly because of Trump policies? Jobs lost due to tariffs, health insurance up, food more expensive and all the while Trump and his family have been getting richer and richer.

Don't argue with LOL about this - I don't even think he qualifies for the standard deduction.
