English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
Very poor second half. City realised that long ball to Vik was never going to work and without passers and technical players it was hard to keep possession. Bad call to stick with Kepa.
Bodes terribly for the title charge unless Eze and/or Ode are fit and in form.
I'm strangely calm about the league. I'm in the boom cycle mind you.
If we beat Bmouth while City drop some points against Chelsea - seems unlikely with Chelsea's current form, but you'll never know...I think we might even seal it against City away. If we **** it up against Bmouth I can see squeaky bum timing and dropping points in subsequent games.
Fa Cup / CL will be directly linked to this imo - if we are in the leading seat after those games so much of the pressure will be alleviated we will see a lot better football.
Even if City win their game in hand Arsenal are still 6 pts ahead with a better goal difference and 7 games to go. They arent going to claw back 1 pt per game on average lol.
League basically done and dusted

I agree and mostly because of what you said about City dropping points. Even though we were **** yday, this City team is not good. We're just pussies.
So I see Tudor sent out his assistant to face the music after the 3-0 pummeling...what a leader
Yeah his father had died. Poor Tudor. First the Spurs job now this.
Oh man I did not know his father passed away.
What a horrible day for him.
I retract everything I just said.
I really felt for him when I read this yesterday, as I would for anyone who had that news but he has had to take all the social media abuse from his job on top. Hope him and his family can have as much privacy as they need at this tough time.
In the last 24 hours Gabriel, Eze, Timber, Saliba and Trossard have all pulled out of international duty lmao.

Good - good. Finally some dedication from the club... big clubs have been doing that for years on end. These are friendlies, right?

Yea as jalfrezi posted he has had enough with the Spurs job difficulties and now this? I havent even counted the social media abuse...I would also not be on social media if I was a player/manager. Sure I'd have a social media manager on those accounts to make some money on sponsored posts here and there, but would never read what anyone messages.
The memes are sometimes tough enough to handle after a tough streak and you cant dodge those. Ingesting all that hate - it is hard not to be resentful towards people after that I'd imagine.

Yeah loads do it and yeah friendlies unless you're in the playoffs. Also tbf Timber and Eze are clearly legit injured as is Odegaard. I'm not sure on Gabriel though lmao. Think him and Arsenal are just scarred from the last IB where he came back with a bad injury.

Yeah it can't be good. If your a national manager gotta rule no social media at all whilst we are at the World Cup to each player when you call them up. Time for that afterwards.
Never mind, the famous Austrian typo Adolf Hutter may be on his way to save Spurs.
Eze out for 4-6 weeks. Peachy.
Gyökeres with a nice hattrick
Clearly needs his pension topping up.
44 years after getting sacked, too.
There's hope for Tudor after all, just needs to look after his health.
Clearly needs his pension topping up.
I always had a sweet spot for Gargamel. Even at Plop ... seems to me that he is doing it for the love of the game
Tudor gone.
Going to particularly draw attention to this bit:
An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course
Great, we've got loads of time.
I am hoping that it's all sorted and they didn't want to combine wishing tudor all the best, with a new manager announcement........ but I'm definitely giving Tottenham Hotspur football club too much credit there
They're debating whether to ask de Zerbi, who's a controversial figure with some of the fans after he signed Greenwood, calling him a "good guy", or go for...Sean Dyche.
