I was trying to verify a story from a medieval studies Prof years ago. The story is simply that nobles had to be right handed. So if the child was showing left hand dominence, they would tie the arm until he relearned to use his RH. The first two pages of websearch came up empty for Europe. Does this come up in head kicking or disserting?

my understanding of it was that this is a myth and it was only with the industrial revolution where factories were setup for right handed people and thus it was like "oh man, timmy will never get a job in the factories if he doesn't learn how to operate machinery designed for a righty"
I think your prof was full of it. There are a lot of historical examples of bias against left-handedness, going back at least to Roman times (the Latin word for left is "sinister"), but nothing systematic like that which I've come across.
The Victorian examples are mostly in the upper class, too, so I doubt they were looking for factory jobs. They just were desperate for their kids to be "normal" and, especially, to have perfect table manners which included which hand to use for which things.

I keep waiting for the please send gift cards to this address in Nigeria. I actually hope someone hacked his phone and he's not in a hospital somewhere.

blunt force trauma tends to break stuff including electronics. RTP is a pretty organized younger generation dude who I am sure has stuff backed up/organized significantly better than guys that have the olds. I exchanged texts with his mother and she just wants people to support him during his recovery. From personal experience the recovery from getting completely wrecked is fcuking long and lonely.
