Well of course there is the primary definition which basically cashes out to adult human male, although there is sort of quibbling around the edges as to what it means to be a male (many have settled on the ability to produce small gametes, but there are issues with that).

A secondary but very prominent definition is to talk about male in terms of the masculine gender, which can be cashed out in various social roles, presentation, and internal psychology. I think it’s going to be a threshold of sufficient conditions that makes someone a part of that gender. I could give more but I think that’s enough as an ostensive definition for the purposes of the argument.

Importantly you don’t have to agree with my definition to accept that it would preserve meaning without equivocating. I also think there’s reasons to believe that this is a commonly used definition of man even if it’s not the primary one people use.

As far as I'm concerned, that's on them. Personally if I switched teams, I'd just refer to myself as a women, not a trans woman. But that's me. I just can't recall many times that I refer to myself as a man. And I've always hated our gender pronouns when you have no idea who you're talking to and so I love being able to use the plural pronouns.

When we started, I thought “trans men” meant any biological female who identifies as a man. You later clarified it means those who identify as men and underwent medical treatment. If I made an argument, we could have hit a similar impasse because your definition is just a subset of mine, to me but not you.

Except your point is completely wrong or dishonest. When you say “hurr durr Dems say men can get pregnant” you are using men to mean “people born as biological males” which is obviously false with current technology. Whereas when people say “men can get pregnant” they obviously mean people born as biological females who transition.

I have had two interactions and they were both adults. One was very good looking and gone through the whole transition as an adult the other was just a clerk at the Costco pharmacy. NO worries as they are adults .

So your evidence that Dems can “be as crazy as the GOP” is actually something that YOU agree with, which is that by the definition of man that they are using, men can get pregnant. They are talking about man as a gender not reducible to biology. So in fact if you acknowledge trans men can get pregnant then it analytically entails that some men can get pregnant.

So on that specific point you really aren’t making any sense because you actually agree with the people you’re calling crazy. Are you saying that you also hold a crazy belief? Or are you equivocating for rhetorical purposes? Or do you hold to a true contradiction both that some men can get pregnant and it is not the case that some men can get pregnant?

No men can get pregnant as Trans men are not men they are women that think they are men which if they are adults all the power to them /they zis/zos/he/she ...........

People born as biological females who transition, aren't men though. They've a gender dysphoria and if they prefer different pronouns, that's perfectly okay and they shouldn't face ridicule or discrimination. But they aren't men. Trans men can get pregnant, men can't.
