1-3 werid opp line
hero just sat down maybe 3 orbits ago, waiting on seat for 2-5 mix game, table is friendly and soft from what i can see.
Im on my 2nd buyin, only notable hand -
open to 21 from HJ, CO calls ( villian in HH in question), bu calls, sb folds, bb calls and i sqz to $105 with AKhh.
HJ jams for $460 total and says something like "gotta see all 5 with this one" or something similar. folds back to me and i say well you dont have aces or kings because why the speech?, is it JJ,QQ or AQ? and he flinched significantly, he was already visibly uncomfortable to the point you could tell either this was a very large wager for him or he was weak/scared. hard to tell the difference with no back history. i call and board runs out clean for his QQ.
current villain in CO smacks the table and says dammit i knew i should of called i folded 99s when a 9 hit the turn. idk know if its relevant but its something i remember when people are results oriented. he did tank for 6-7 seconds preflop after the shove aswell before folding.
2nd hand of relevance - im +2 and open A5cc to $10, 3 field callers behind me, bb completes ( villain).
flop AdTx3d - pot $50
bb leads for $15, i call, all fold
turn AdTx3d8y - pot $75
bb checks , i bet $60, he calls
river AdTx3d8y5z - $195
bb checks, i bet $100, he folds and says "i had nut diamonds, your good"
now to hand in question.....
UTG opens 10, +1 calls, i am +2 and call with 3d3c, 2 late position callers and bb (villain) calls.
Pot= $60
flop - 8d4d3h
bb donks $15, PFR calls, +1 folds, i raise to $50, folds to bb who minclicks to $90 which turns into a whole thing as dealer doesnt know if that raise size is legal, so she counts it and i say it is legal, technically $85 is the smallest raise size, while this whole convo is going on PFR folds, Hero?? we have $450 behind with $200 in the pot of dead money.
i raised to $50 because its a "large" size for the game, not relative to the pot

This is a combo draw every time. Trying to milk value on blanks seems a little too treacherous for me.
Jam
I might laugh and say ‘you got diamonds again’ and pop it to $200.
There’s so many hands he could have
Whatever you think will get him to put money in the middle. It will be rare that you are beat.
How deep are we here?
He could have 2P or a higher set. He could have a good draw, but I don't see many low stakes recs taking this sort of line with a draw.
This sort of line looks like a strong hand that's just milking you for value. I wouldn't fold to the min-click, but I also wouldn't 3B.
$500 eff at start of hand, well $510 technically because i had exactly 450 behind the $50 raise on flop and he had me covered by a little bit of red chips.
i also always sit with a stack of green and buy red from someone at the table, i absolutely hate having 5 stacks of red to start as there is always so much freaking red $5 chips on the table its gross. takes a full hand or 2 to stack a decent pot after winning.
i tanked for a good minute as i want to get as much money in as possible here and couldnt decide whether to flat and let him jab turn then jam, click it back and be stuck calling any turn card, or just jam immediately.
if i flat, there will be $240 in the pot and $440 behind. if he checks i wont be able to get all the money in if he checks so i axed flatting
if i min-click to $200- he calls there will be $460 in pot and $300 behind. if he open jams turn ( he acts first) it will be $300 to win $760 and ill need about 40% which given i dont know much about him other than the regret of folding 99 preflop for a full stack and the diamond donk hand. If its a diamond am i really going to fold? probably. so if i min-c to $200, diamond turn i fold, everything else i call his jam or if he checks i jam non-diamonds.
if i min-click to $200- he jams, i kind of dont like this. its insanely strong but i dont think i can fold to this guy so i probably sigh call and expect to see a set 30% of the time and a diamond draw/combo draw/2 pair the other 70%.
if i jam - i think im only getting his bluffs and weird gutters with a diamond or something to fold. i think hes calling the rest of his range because donk/3b is such a strong line here i just dont him having those kinds of hands often because most of the players in these games dont think on this level. its more like " ork see holecard, ork like holecard, ork put money". *flop comes out* ork like flop, ork bet.. agrro green chip guy raise.. ork like holecard, ork put more money.
so i dont assume hes would he even be on that level to think to x/r standard hands as a bluff? who knows though, im probably just wrong lol
i settle on just jam now. i think i can get called by most of his range so its better to get it in now and not wait.
I jam, he goes in the tank for like a minute, minute and a half. says " feels like diamonds, must have the flush draw". i stay quiet the whole time, just staring at the board. big bets is the only time i tend to be quite non-conversational lol. Another minute goes by, he tells everyone that " he needs another minute" which people tell him thats a big bet, take your time, its your money. Which internally im like stfu, he knows that. i mean i didnt get snap called so i know im ahead. he either has 84, 83, 43, 65dd, 76dd, 97dd or maybe even a hand as weak as 2 overs with diamonds. I block the 33s and i have 3d so he doesnt have A3dd or 43dd which means its likely he has 84, 65dd, 76dd, 97dd or KJdd or something. he then rolls over the 4h to try and get a reaction, then the 8h. he says "you could also have a set i guess". another 25 seconds goes by and i ask if he wants to pick one. He has 4 outs so i want him to put the money in now. i shuffle my holecards and ask him if he would like to pick one?. i figure of he picks the 3d hes calling so i have a 50/50 shot. he picks the 3d..10 more seconds and he says its either A3dd or 33 and i dont want to gamble, diamonds will hit eventually then he folded!
i think showing him killed me. also like jamming even in hindsight as a diamond, T, 9, 7, 6, 5 are the big scare cards for him ( flush, straight and bigger 2 pairs). thats half the deck, so half the deck its going to be hard to extract value from him. the other half i can probably get another bet out of him if i flat the $90. if he folded 2pr on the flop, i think if i minclick to 200, he folds the turn anyway, he might even fold flop to minclick.
he was allin 2 hands later with KcQd on Ad 9d Ks 2d. he called an open to 20 pre, a 50 cb and check jammed over a 125 cb vs AQ lol
Kd on the river..
Moral of the story? You cant read an ork i guess lol
