Outside of the moral quagmire it puts me in, I don't have an issue with what Victor says. The issue is what he doesn't say. Unlike the pacifist leaning crowd who say the same sort of stuff about us, they also hold Hamas etc to the same standards and condemn them as well.

i think he's trying to touch base on the fact that some jews strongly critique jews who only identify as ethnically jewish and not religiously jewish because that lends credence to holocaust accusations of them being a separate race of people which needed to be eradicated
my bil sometimes gets a lot of grief from some family for wanting to raise his kid to identify as jewish despite knowing very little of the religion itself which he doesn't believe in

Iranians were literally dancing on the street in my city. you have to talk to some of them and ask them what they want instead of hating on the move just because its trump. This attack is very popular in Canada because they had a mass killing of Canadians a couple of years ago. No one hates trump more right now then Canada. Of course people feel short-term satisfaction from the death of the insane leaders that have been running Iran. That doesn’t mean that it’s going to have good long-term results. It also doesn’t make it any less of a betrayal of the insanely stupid rhetoric we’ve been hearing about Trump not wanting to start wars or being a president of peace. He’s neither of those things.
