I don't even know what drug game you are referring to? My husband is a financial advisor. I got him high from pot once about 20 years ago and it made him sick -- we haven't had it since except for my trying a couple of gummies in Vegas to help me sleep (didn't work, unfortunately).

Little Darlings is a terrible club though they have been known for extras due to how financially abusive the club is towards the girls. Like all the other clubs, the girls pay a house fee to work, sort of like the entrance fee that the customers pay. In other clubs, after the house fee is paid, they keep all the rest of the money they make. Little Darlings (and I believe the other clubs owned by Deja Vu) take 33% of any additional money the girls earn. That's why bouncers are always walking by the booths because they need to count dances. In order to cover the difference the girls have to do more in order to get more in tips.

This. I have been to Vegas at least 15 times and never felt the need to visit one. Then again, I have visited exactly one such establishment in my life, and I ran out of there within 3-4 minutes. So it's probably not for me.

Like...I get going to a hooker or rub n tug or w/e if that's your thing because at least you get your rocks off, but paying significant $$$ to get nothing, touch nothing etc...seems weirdly demeaning and pointless to me.

I think prostitution should be legal with health care, etc. It's my body...

I think Strip Joints are all in good fun. When I was very young, I thought they were ridiculous, so when my friends took me, I wanted out within minutes. At that point in my life, I was able to attract beautiful women so I thought it was demeaning for me to pay for it. Then I got a little older, and I found it mildly entertaining, but didn't spend very much just a few dances here and there. I think I felt it was better than losing the money gambling. Every so often I was able to take a lady back to the hotel. Then I got a little older still and have lost interest again. I wouldn't begrudge a man for having a little phone like that, but some guys lack good judgement and spend megabucks on a woman that actually loathes them as they fleece them.

While you are getting that legalized, can you get online poker legalized as well?

I ask this because I used to think the same way. Why go to strip club? Then a few years ago (2017ish???) I met a client of mine in Vegas. Even though he was a business client, we were meeting more as friends. He suggested a strip club. I thought it weird, but he was a client so I went.

When we discussed the fact that we were meeting in a strip club, he explained it quite clearly.

Him and I were going to spend a few hours standing and talking about life, the universe, and everything. We were going to pay for overpriced drinks no matter where we went. Why not go to a strip club where there were ascetically pleasing women to look at in the background?

Neither one of us were going to get our rocks off. That wasn't the point. The point was we were going to spend a couple hundred on alcohol while we socialized. Sure, I could probably have gotten away with spending $100 if I had tried to save money. That wasn't the point. Whether we spent $100, each or $300 each, the money did not matter. My relationship with him was worth orders of magnitude more than that.

So why not spend the money at a place where there were good looking half naked women dancing in the background?

Put a different way, we didn't do dinner together, (that is why we ended up at a strip club to socialize), but if we did go to dinner, obviously the cheapest answer would be to go to McDonalds, or we could have went for a nice steak and potatoes place. Obviously they both provide the same amount of calories.

Why overpay for a steak versus McDonalds?

Obviously the intangibles matter.

Same with going to a strip club versus drinking at a strip bar. Intangibles matter, especially when the money is close enough not to matter.

i understand the novelty of strip clubs, do not understand the men who go there and spend serious cash - even if they are receiving more than a lapdance there's gotta be more cost effective options out there
