President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

I got to ride the city buses for free.

Ol Donnie the Dove gonna stop the forever wars!

I would not vote for Trump again. I would probably not vote at all if Trump ran for a third term.

Oh, so if Trump ran for a third term, you would not oppose him by literally voting for any candidate that runs against him just to show support for the two-term limit mandated by the 22nd Amendment?

Fukk outta here. You would vote for him again if it was Trump 3.0 vs Kamala and someone had a gun to your head saying you had to pull a lever for one of them or get domed.

I would either stay home or vote for someone other than Trump.

Fukk outta here.

What's with the ghetto talk? You hangin' with "30 wild niggaz"*?

That is correct.

Not an especially likely scenario though.

Hey Can we ****ing ban Geezer chess? He's a pos.

by whatthejish

Huh?

I'm quoting a lyric from a song LandOLakes keeps referring too.

It's not the n-word; it's a word black folks often use among themselves.

Ever heard of a rap group called N.W.A.?? What do you think the 'N' stood for?

I say ban Land 'O Lakes for cultural appropriation.

by geezerchess

It's not the n-word

wtf

by diebitter

wtf

You know any black people? They'll likely explain to you the difference between the two words. They've explained it to me.

addendum: I won't discuss this any more until the mods adjudicate the post.

lagtight,

I don't necessarily think you meant that comment to be racist. In fact, I would guess that wasn't your intent. But your terrible judgment and failure to appreciate cultural context are truly astonishing. I sometimes wonder how you manage to safely navigate the world.

Maybe you should ask them whether they approve of old white guys using either variant on the internet.

I just asked my Black supervisor at work (we’re also friends. In fact, I recruited him to my work to be my boss) when it’s ok to use that word, and his response was “never.”

I doubt they'd care

“never” is the appropriate response here. it requires no supporting cast

the extended framing about your Black supervisor, your friendship, and your role in recruiting him is not relevant to the substance of the answer. it functions solely as an attempt to virtue signal

and that is precisely the problem. when the response becomes an opportunity for self presentation rather than simple clarification, it muddies what should be a straightforward point. instead of correcting the issue cleanly, it turns into a performance of how enlightened and magnanimous you are

if the goal is to communicate that it is never acceptable, then say that. the additional detail does not strengthen the argument. it reframes it around you and strips it of all credibility as the obvious and disgusting smarm that it is

My response was in response to someone who claimed Black people explained it to them. As such, my response is completely appropriate. **** off.

Your sense of humor is odd.

Conservative supermajority that includes 3 justices he appointed and 2 he didn’t but are hypermaga strikes down the tariffs

Somehow this is the fault of the radical left

Ok, Reported, let a mod decide.

Not acceptable at all imo.

Lol. You just literally said you'd vote for Trump a fourth time. Each fukking time you say you would never vote for Trump again, I always find a very simple scenario where you would. Fukk outta here with that chit.

Lmao. I'm surprised you didn't post the first hustling scene from Poolhall Junkies, where he's hustling a gangbanger and go into the word in detail, to prove your point.
