Some of the shots he hits are simply ridiculous.

I know it's obvious, but he is so ****ing good. He could play in the league for the next 5-10 years and still average 20+.

He also doesn't get enough credit for his durability. He rarely sits out like some other bigger stars.

And he can play defense, passes well, etc.

The Lakers with another hilarious turnover on the final possession of the game. Somehow they've been doing it nonstop for 3 years. This one didn't cost them the game.

Everyone thought the Celtics would be tanking and maybe top out at 30 wins if they were lucky. Jaylen said nah we got this, we gonna be the #2 seed on February 23rd.
Pistons currently have the top record in the league and obviously Cade's performance is a huge part of that.

I wouldn't mind a CO-MVP this season.

The Celtics over/under for wins was 41.5.

The team was never tanking. They were certainly trying to get under the salary cap aprons and out of the luxury tax. Those were bigger priorities than competing for the championship in the '25-'26 season. However, I'm sure Celtics management always thought they'd be in the playoffs (maybe just the play-in tournament).

Brown, White and Pritchard deserve a lot of credit for stepping into more important roles.

However, I think it's a group of young players getting 15+ minutes who have made the biggest difference (Queta, Wash, Gonzalez, Scheierman, Minott, Garza, Hauser, and previously Simons). None of them have been great players. But, they all make significant contributions while they're on the court and are the reason the Celtics are surviving the loss of Porzingis, Holiday, Horford, Kornet, and Tatum.

Cunningham has a shot at MVP. But, SGA and Jokic are still ahead of him. I don't think Brown is getting serious consideration but will finish 4th-7th in the voting.

Jokic can only miss one more game and still qualify for awards.
