Neat hand, Dango, and a totally different reveal than I was expecting.

Thought I had, when I was rereading the thread, the V here has a continuing range with two main components that are exclusive and want different pot and bet sizes: AX/ big pairs > 99, and flush draws. They can't have both. FDs want to draw cheaply, and will likely lose unimproved if H has an ace or pair. Big pairs want to cheaply determine if H has an ace, and perhaps BD a flush if applicable, aces want to make the flush -EV to draw to, and get a bet from H if H has an inferior ace/lower pair/bd gutshot what have you.

With an underpair to all of V's first set, yet beating all of V's 2nd set, which part of V's range should we target? Should we make a flop or turn, bet or raise, to clarify and narrow which set applies to V's holding?

Is this a viable way to think about the situation at all?

So do you agree he folds most of his range to an overbet?

i mean this is (almost) always going to happen based on the math lol. that doesn't mean its profitable to run it with atc
