The Food Thread
I too had pork belly last night
I guess that I refrigerate rice more often than I freeze it. I just find that it dries out a lot either way, which of course is ideal if I want to make fried rice the next day but otherwise is suboptimal.
Fried rice is another elite way to consume cheap, fast, and tasty calories.
Lol. grizy and I apparently are on the same page about the best use for leftover rice.
Had a sweet chili pork and sweet chili beef left over and combined them into a delicious dish
I don't enjoy cooking, but I also spend way too much money on really shitty food, so I gave HelloFresh a try and really like it.I've also wasted hundreds of dollars on food I didn't cook because I was too lazy, which kind of defeats the purpose. Anyways, got the new order in and had a Turkey Chili and a Sausage Rigatoni left over from the previous week so combined them into Tu
You enjoy competing, so just set out to make better food than the next guy.
You can buy rice that's precooked and frozen, add some water to it in a pot and it heats up fast.
Wet paper towel on top of the frozen rice then microwave is how I was taught to heat up frozen rice as a child.
Just a quick diversion back to an earlier diversion, but does the reaction to Bad Bunny as the featured Superbowl entertainment not vindicate what I've been saying about conservatives and their intense loathing of foreign languages? Look at the level of freakout, an outgrowth of which was the embarrassing alternative half time show with Kid Rock and a few people you've never heard of. I'm not sure if the self identifying Dems or Leftists here actually study the Right the way I do, but if you've been paying some attention to them lately on this you might have learned something. The fear of "the other" goes deep in them.
BTW I sampled seattle style hot dogs with...cream cheese. I'm not a fan. That's an example of people doing something just to be different. Just come to Chicago if you want a decent hot dog. But if you do don't let anyone see you put ketchup on it or you might get shot.

The Bad Bunny choice by the NFL was smart, it generated a little controversy to increase interest.
Plain hotdogs with ketchup are still my go-to.....
The "authentic" Chicago hot dog is probably only ordered by tourists
hArD pAsS
Lol, we also have depression dogs if you prefer a more basic taste.
Chicago dogs are the tits. Sonic offers a surprisingly solid option. Or they used to, they aren't on the menu in Colorado so not sure if they are still on the menu elsewhere
Theyβre actually pretty good, yeah.

The right has been selling language, borders and culture for 40 years. It would be breaking news if they stayed silent about this.
Ketchup is the best and only condiment I use on 7-11 spicy hot dogs.
