All you established is that the elites aren't threatened much by a dissident intellectual in the US as they are a foreign mass revolutionary party with state-seizing capacity.
The elites back in the day could've easily assassinated Marx. They were undoubtably threatened with his ideas spreading but it's the mass organizers that they're really threatened by and Chompsky wasn't one of them.

not true, he was widely criticized and blacklisted for his skepticism of the crimes of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia. He was also widely criticized for defending the free speech of a holocaust revisionist. Just because you don’t know about these things doesn’t mean they didn’t happen.

Plenty on the far left say the same about Bernie and AOC as Victor is saying about Chomsky. For some of them anyway, anything short of calling for violent revolution or any attempts to fix the system from within basically makes one the enemy of the real, true Left.
But I don't think Vic is a full-blown Marxist revolutionary. That crowd actually wants ICE and Israel out there doing what they're doing along with someone like Trump in office, militarized police forces in our cities, racial and economic tensions, etc.

Sounds similar to the myocarditis panic with the vaccine. The people that had myocarditis from the vaccine are likely the same ones that would've gotten it worse from a covid infection. The difference is they are healthy when they got it so they noticed it and reported it.
