PokerStars Axes EU & UK Affiliate Deals & Payments – Leaving Partners Out Of Pocket

PokerStars has followed up its recent decision to axe its UK affiliate program with a further cull across Europe, cutting-off participating “merchants” in several European jurisdictions.

UK‑facing partners were told last week that all PokerStars affiliate arrangements in Great Britain are being wound down, with no future commissions payable on existing players once the program closes. News of the change broke on the GPWA forum, where a user’s “merchant termination” email from the Stars Affiliate Club was posted, which makes it clear that their PokerStars relationship has ended and that recurring revenue from historic referrals will stop.
