79s in the CO facing two limps

1/2. 250 effective. Loose-passive table. Everyone is trying to win the high hand. Hero has a LAG image.

Limp. Limp. Hero in CO with 7h9h. Hero?

In a vacuum it's a raise. In real life with grumpy HH chasers it's even more of a raise. 😃

raise or fold.

Meh. It's not that I hate raise it's that we all know we'll raise, we'll still go to the flop 4-5 ways and we'll be wondering wtf to do on 90% of flops.

Edit: Fold pre.

then fold pre

his rake is $9.

in a game with low stack depth and high rake, sc's are worthless.

Yeah sorry I thought my post was clear lol. I think it's a fold, I don't hate raise pre cause aggression bla bla bla but realistically we just see the flop mw 100% of the time and we end up just folding unimproved or worse, we'll make a flush, get raised and rush to 2p2 to ask if we should be folding our flush.

Overlimp vs loose-passive players or fold. Zero reason to raise and bloat the pot.

Just not within my realm of possibility. I would play this hand with a free play from the BB.

I would possibly raise this hand from the button, if I felt I could outplay (bluff) villain.

Other than that, it’s insta-muck

This is like going into a battle of machetes with a pocket knife.

This is an example of if you play like everyone else, you will lose like everyone else. Nitty told you suited-connectors are worthless in this kind of game unless you want to take the crazy ride of variance. If you like that, just go upstairs and play blackjack instead.

NL Hold’em has always been and will always be a game of high cards.

Honestly, sincerely I’m not messing around
When you can fold all day long giving up $3 every 20 minutes, why would you not wait for strong openers?
