Best personal poker runs
I use to play professionally online between 2009-2016 - was in my mid 20s and had some fun times. 2010 was my biggest year in online tournament poker - ended up making a little under 300k with no huge wins - think my biggest win that year was 35k. This was through Absolute Poker, FTP, Stars, Cake Poker - probably some others but can't remember. Best part was in January I was two weeks into the year and about 10k in the hole - luckily hung in there and won 62k in February. Curious to hear some other big runs - 2011 we had Black Friday and never came close to that 2010 profit. Had a couple 100kish years following that but decided to move on.
If you had any big years post with some detail - I wish I could of appreciated things more back then being young and on a poker heater.

biggest poker runs are from card room comped food.
I never played big stakes but I would play on Ultimatebet during the boom. Loved their rebuy/add on low stakes tournaments ($5-20) and I did very well in them, cashing a ton and a decent amounnt of final tables. I went 1st, 2nd, 3rd one time in 3 straight tournments. Had 300+ people each time. It was probably my largest payout in my life and I still have the screenshots somewhere on my old computer. The dopamine didn't wear off for like a month.
Played online back in the heyday like most my age, from 1999 to 2008 or so. I believe it was FTP that used to run a $1000 NLHE tourney on Monday nights that got btw 150-250 players most weeks. I only played in it about 10-12 times over a few months in 2006 or 2007. But I remember one stretch where I final tabled that tourney 6 out of 7 weeks in a row. No 1st or 2nds though, only 3rd, 4th, and 5ths, but made around 150K from it over that 7 week span.
In 2017 I made 230 buy ins at $25-50 online . >10bb/100. Crypto booms were make or break for ACR games at the time. Not my biggest year but in terms of buy ins it was quite impressive
I was in college in 2009, and for like 2 months I only played sundays with an ABI of like $35, and i hit a 5 fig score like 4 sundays in a row, ended with 2nd in sunday milly for first 6 fig score
I've made 30k in 5/5 plo (10 dollar straddle) twice in my life.
Both times off a 1k buy in.
The first time I doubled someone up and had 300 dollars left in the small blind and was going to reload on the button. I tripled that hand and never reloaded. The game was never that great, just decent. It was just an absurd run were I probably won 1000-2000 20 or so times and lost maybe only 2-3 decent size pots.
The other time was with an absolute psyco in the game with endless pockets I've played with a few times. I was yoyoing from 2000-8000 or so for hours, caught a full double up and had around 18k. Bled a little off as he ran his stack up before he doubled me up in a 35k pot with some dead money in there as well.
The second time makes total sense but what happened the first time is still crazy to me. It was only like an 8 hour session too.
