This is getting out of hand. When you have one chip left and facing an all in from a player with mountains of chips and asking for a count to pause the shot clock is ridiculous. Seen this multiple times on the WSOP Paradise stream.

Where I deal, it is our policy that when the shot clocks are in play, whenever a player goes all in, we count down their stack regardless of how obvious it is that they have the other player covered.

When questioned, the floor will say that it takes time to count down a stack and therefore every calling player deserves an equal amount of time to make a decision as other players. So if it takes a dealer 30 seconds to count down your stack, each player should be given that extra time regardless of what their own stack is.

Seems to me most of the bitching is not from players, but from 2+2ers here who are frustrated trying to enjoyably watch live-streamed tournaments.

DINGDINGDINGDINGDING!!! We have a winner!

They should also ban stuff like going all in preflop for all but one chip (after a tank of course) and then tanking before finally calling when someone puts you all in.

So then you go allin but for 2 chips. If they ban that, then it's 3 chips. Then they could ban going allin but for the last 10% of your stack. Now, when you bet something close to 90% of your stack, they have

When someone goes AI -1, just say call.

Eh, that doesn't always work? If they started the hand with 7bbs and go all-in for 6.5, you're going to just call with a hand that needs to 3b for protection?

Then it doesn't matter if the other guy left one chip behind or not . . . unless they are in a position to fold and ladder up before hitting their next blind.

Ari Engel was doing a great job of tanking preflop two days ago on the stream on every single hand. Ugh.

And the problem here is a player population where you've got nobody else on the table that doesn't warn the guy after a couple of hands, then call clock every hand afterwards
