I’ve yet to finish S4 of Mayor of Kingstown, but from what I’ve watched it’s the best season so far.
I've done more rewatching of old shows than new ones, but this year had some great stuff!
The Pitt
Task
The Lowdown
Pluribus
Shoresy (season 4 and the start of season 5)
Honorable mentions:
Heated Rivalry

Your Friends And Neighbors

I never really got into The Lowdown, I still haven't watched the last 2.
In the last 6 months I have rewatched most of all the best series except for The Sopranos because I did that like 4 years ago. I am currently in the middle of Homeland rewatch and to my surprise there is a ton I don't remember, I must not have ever watched it all originally.

We started another rewatch of Deadwood. Such a great cast of characters along with being a great show.
Most of the things I rewatched are single-cam sitcoms. Started in early ‘25 with Brooklyn 99 since I never finished it. Just a few eps before bed. Then I rewatched Veep and went hard on that! And I’ve kept that up all year lol
My recent rewatches were:
The Americans
Ozark
Better Call Saul
The Wire
Hightown
and probably a few others I can't remember.
1. Andor season 2
2. Task
3. Dexter Resurrection
4. Severance season 2
5. The Studio/Slow Horses 5/Department Q
Biggest suprise: Dexter and Pluribus.
Dexter for being such a great and fun season after 15 years of mediocre seasons and Pluribus for being so bad from the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
Last of Us season 2 was terrible imo after you know what, just like the games story. Good first few episodes though.
Andor was amazing. Severance season 2 was still really good, but a step down from S1. Task was HBO's best in years imo.
I really enjoyed/enjoying Spartacus: House of Ashur, Fallout S2, Squid Game 2 and Daredevil Reborn to
Really good year for tv imo
Dexter: Resurrection is a pretty good pick. I thoroughly enjoyed both that and the prequel.
I just started and quickly finished an Adult Swim show called Common Side Effects that I need to add to my honorables. I haven’t seen an AD show since early Aqua Teen Hunger Force but this damn sure ain’t ATHF.
It’s about a plant-guy who finds a magic mushroom that can cure anything. All hell breaks loose!
Yea, Common Side Effects is solid.
1. IT: Welcome to Derry
2. Severance S2
3. Dexter: Resurrection
4. Pluribus
5. Stranger Things S5
I'm sofar behind on shows....but of the ones I did see:

Pluribus added to peoples top 5 cos cant think of anything else to fill the gap with.....
Pluribus
The Chair Company
The Eternaut
Severance
Adolescence
Holding space for Industry, Slow Horses, The Lowdown which I’m catching up
The Righteous Gemstones final season a clear six
Andor
Dexter Resurrection
Severance
Task
Reacher
rewatched the Pitt, and it was great the second time. but my memory is awful, so that helps.
but on the rewatch I was especially impressed with the casting. cuz right away I was like "oh wow that person is in it too, they're really good!"
idk if they had a lot of money to spend, but either way whoever did the casting is very talented.
my highly subjective ranking of performances:
Taylor dearden - Dr king(the Dr on the spectrum[also bryan cranston's kid])
shabanna Azeez - Dr javadi(20 year old student doctor)
fiona dourif - Dr McKay(with the ankle monitor[also brad dourif's kid])
Tracy ifeachor - Dr Collins(with the short afro)
Gerran Howell - Dr Whitaker(young guy from nebraska)
Noah Wylie - Dr Robbins(the star)
isa broines - Dr Santos(young hot head)
Patrick ball - Dr Langdon(Dr robi's bud[also heard it was his first acting job!])
katherain lanasa - the head nurse(for me her fantastic performance was ruined by lame ass attempt to be working class)
and not sure where to rank Jackson Kelly who played the troubled teen who made the hit list of girls. that ****ing guy rocked it! but he had such a small part.
Does Task start to get really good? I think Im on episode 3 or 4 and it's just OK to me, definitely not feeling a top 5 show right now. The lead bad guy kind of bugs me so maybe thats it.
OK cool, ill finish it.
