I need 7.4 from Jennings/CMC
Pitts breaks week 15 and Stafford and Puka break week 16.
Guy's you needed this week...Puka, Bijan, Stafford, Lawrence, Jeanty, Olave, Cook, Walker etc. The "experts" were on none of these guy's except Puka and Bijan. Everybody was on dumb Puka and Bijan.
I'm probably gonna win a puppy with a team that had several of the dudes above. I didn't have to invest a ton of money to advance a team to week 17. Ironically, this was one of my worst years injury wise and I still will be making a profit. I do think I am better than most as far as knowing who to fade and getting solid points out of last round picks. Beyond that this game is obviously 100% luck. If drafting wasn't so much fun I would stay away from best ball. I was taking CMC at 5 when the "experts" gave him a late first early second ADP. Ironically, none of my CMC teams advanced to week 17.
I think next year I will do more high dollar/less people drafts. If I can stay relatively healthy I win. It's funny how many people are scammed into doing BBM's and DK Millies. "You mean to tell me that if I max out every three years I might have a team make it to week 17?" "Sign me up".

No one is being scammed. People are aware of the variance. Yes, there are plenty of contests with better structures than BBM and the Milly. No, those contests don't have $2 million up top. Winning $10k, $20k, $50k, $100k, etc. is cool, but that won't be truly life changing for anyone. Winning $2 million is truly life changing, which is why people play. Everyone is free to play how they want, including you.
You must think the WSOP Main Event is a scam too.

Regarding the WSOP. Poker is a game of skill. You can win life changing money at the WSOP without winning it all. It's not a scam like BBM which markets to the get rich quick crowd. Most people who play the WSOP are probably reasonably good poker players. Most are just happy to get into the money which for some is life changing. I don't play tournaments because they are boring. I play cash games where I can actually count on making a living and not worry about injuries or bad pod luck or whatever. I actually have control over the variance.

CMC in playoff best ball is a complicated pick to me. 9% make Super Bowl odds, so not really that interesting but could advance you on his own in every week he plays.
Feel like 4 is too high for him, but also a v hard fade. I probably take cook over him 2/3rds of the time
Playoff best ball is such a tough balance between advancing but also having a team that can win it in the finals, especially with a lot of drafters building suboptimally. Feels like you almost need to just grit your teeth and bet against players like CMC that you don't think are very live to make the SB and hope they don't beat you in the games they do play.

Made semis in 4/9, looking like finals in 3 of those 4. One of them is my 8 man redraft where I'm going for a 3peat. The other 2 are dynasty leagues. Hoping to win at least 2/3.

My Milly team flamed out. I'm currently 9/12. The top team had the works. Puka, Olave, JSN, DJM. Caleb, Gibbs, Pollard, Goedert the rest of his lineup.

1 Husky 2 - Locked into a finals team, no sweat.
2 BBM - Dead
2 Flocks - Dead
1 Poodle - Need 18.96 from Pittman to catch 1st. Also need Pittman to outscore BRob by 7.4 to pass 2nd. So live but not likely.
6 Puppies - 3 are dead.
I have a second place team with 172.26, 5.72 behind 1st. I have Downs and he has Pittman. I need +14.6 for Downs to hit the lineup, so at least 20.32 to catchup. While he only needs +7.40 for Pittman to hit the lineup. Basically dead lol.
I have another 2nd place team, 4.26 behind first. First is done. I have JT who needs +8.50 to hit the lineup, so 12.76 to catch up. I also have Pierce, who needs +12.8 to hit the lineup. Third is 2.44 behind me and has CMC left to play. But CMC needs +14.60 to hit the lineup. Feels like I have a decent chance here.
I have a 4th place team where the top of the standings are very tight. 134.80, 134.08, 133 ahead of me. I have 132.78. 5th has 131.96. First has CMC and needs +7.30 to hit the lineup. He also has Purdy that needs +21.50 and Jauan that needs +11.60. 2nd, 3rd, and 5th are done. I have CMC and need +15.20 to hit the lineup. I also have Downs and Jennings, who need a combo of +3.4 and +6.7 to hit my lineup. So I'm live but definitely not favored.
2 MMGs - One is in 2nd, 15.24 behind first. First is done. I have CMC and need +7.60 to hit the lineup. I also have Pittman and need +5.80 to hit the lineup. Third place is 1.08 behind and has Downs and needs +8.60 to hit the lineup. I have a chance here, but I don't think I'm favored.
The other is in third and probably dead. But crazy nights from JT/Pierce can give me a chance. Sackreligious is in this pod and advancing.
1 GS - I'm in 5th place. Top 6 are separated by 3.82 total. I have CMC and need +10.80 to hit the lineup. I'm the only one in the top 6 with CMC. Frst has JT and needs +7, Pittman and needs +5.50, and Kittle and needs +7.90. So it doesn't look good for me lol. 3rd has JT and needs +12.50, but they are dead with first also having JT and needing less. 3rd place has one of the crazier builds I've ever seen.

So 3 advancing right now, with the Husky locked and Pom 3 very likely locked. BBMDB says I'm at 4.9 expected. I guess after going through the above exercise, I can see how that's possible. Baseline expected from drafted is 3.6. Baseline expected from what actually advanced to w16 is 4.4. Hoping to have anywhere from 3-5 total.
In 4 redraft leagues.
Made playoffs in all 4, one bye.

I've been on several sports forums and have never dealt with such emotionally fragile people. This forum is basically a 3 person love fest or should I say "like" fest. They live for the "likes". they "like" so much that "likes" really don't have any meaning. Then we have a couple trolls who seem to follow me around like little fan boys. Nobody on here can handle a little **** talking. Nobody on here can handle a legit critique of their teams or takes. I assure you I am not the problem. Had you all listened to my great advice instead of pouted you would have made a lot more money this year.

How many more times do you need to be banned before you go away forever ?
I lost my Big Board team, which is sad. But I netted 2 to have 5 finals teams total. I've been very lucky by beating total finals teams expectations every year I've played best ball. Extremely lucky. I can't express how lucky.
