Reno, NV / Lake Tahoe
Ive read some other threads on this and wanted to know the latest info on poker in Reno. Im planning to go this weekend
SW isn't that good. The two certainly look similar but they definitely are not even close to a 100% match. I would not call the two pictures the same guy.
What’s the good word on the new room at Caesar’s at Stateline?
I was just there this week.
The new room is pretty nice, an improvement over the old one. It's located in the back, near the theater/auditorium, kind of out of the way. Large portions of the casino floor are walled off now due to construction, and it makes finding the poker room a bit like walking a maze. I don't know if that affected tourist traffic to the poker room. I played three nights in a row, and the tables were very regular-heavy. Still no eating allowed at the tables. I ordered food to-go from Brew Brothers at Harrahs.
What's the significance of "Republic" in the name?
I spoke with a person in charge of the new Lake Tahoe Proper (Cal Neva) in Crystal Bay. They will be having a poker room there. :-)
