Rivered FH facing a 3 bet from a pretty ABC old marine
4/8 7 handed. Folds to bad old asian guy who limps UTG, Nice old LP guy limps, bad old guy SB limps.
I look at 99 in BB and raise. 3 calls. 4 BB
Flop comes 78T with 2 hearts, I have a blocker heart. SB checks, I bet, UTG calls, BTN calls, SB calls.
Turn is a non heart 7. SB checks, I bet, UTG and BTN call, SB folds.
River is a 9.
I bet, UTG now raises, BTN 3!.
I am obviously not folding....

edit-old asian guy was in CO, not UTG. smh
I would 4bet and call a 5bet.
The only hands that beat you are TT and 77 and you'd think those would have raised by the turn. Almost guaranteed at least one V has a J or a lol QJ. If I had to guess UTG/CO has a straight and BTN has 97.
Easy 4 bet especially if that's the cap and in most rooms there's either a 4 or 5 bet cap multiway so it's a trivial 4 bet and call.
Once again, if you're not betting and raising on occasion when you're behind, you're not aggressive enough.
I tanked briefly knowing the BTN player very well and did 4 bet. CO tank folded(prob QJ).
There was some controversy as BTN tabled his hand without calling(he was right next to the dealer who called my raise but he is old and does not pay attention all the time) and I table my hand assuming he had called, as there was alot going on at the table and he is the farthest from an angle shooter you can get.
Floor was called, his hand was still live, I had tabled my hand so of course he called with TT(and would have anyway)
he apologized to me profusely and later insisted on giving me back my investment in the hand in cash. I refused but he put it in my jacket pocket and walked away waving his hands.
Well played.
Sheet happens. Not much you could do. Four betting is your best option.
