Whether you think it’s good or bad for Trump/Hegseth to be blowing these speed boats out of the water, how do they

Those carrying large amounts of Fentanyl Yes

imagine when china start bombing canadian boat/plane because they have themselves a "good excuse" to bomb them too even tho you might disagree with the reasons....

yup the righteous morality of lozen that justify killing.
shouldnt pedophile be killed too ? (u will probably say no because of trump...)
i think pedophile is worst...
see where its going ?

Why does this have to be partisan? How about we get confirmed military intelligence on these boats, and carry out targeted strikes of confirmed narco cartel, and if there are survivors of strikes w/ no boat left, we follow military code of conduct in order to help keep our own military safe as well? Is that something we can all agree on?

As a side note, Venezuela's drug routes run 85–95% cocaine (via Columbia), not fentanyl. If Hege, Trump and co's main goal is to reduce American drug overdoses, they are targeting the wrong drug and the wrong people. Instead, they are pushing up the price of coke, and ensuring more fentanyl creeps into coke supplies to offset the rising cost, hence increasing American drug overdoses.

It's a hard issue to poll. If you ask the question in a very vague way (do you support using military force to prevent drug smuggling), you will get a much higher purported level of support than if you ask in a very specific way (do you support bombing suspected drug smugglers from Venezuela without any form of due process or court authorization). That said, I haven't seen any

From my Census Bureau days. The words "without any form of due process or court authorization" would be considered a form of conditioning and no reputable pollster would use language like that.

No? How about we ****ing follow the law and not execute people without due process?

Nothing is stopping you from saying "Trump should follow the law even though I'm clearly a right-wing partisan."

Very simple. I was able to find the Axios article that was the source of his numbers.

https://www.axios.com/2025/11/14/trump-d...

Can I ask whether you have been able to find the source article for your numbers?

You were right were I got it . I got asked a simple question if I supported the tactic and I said yes but I would prefer if they did drone strikes on the cartel leaders houses .

I also believe that the Sakler family individuals involved in the Oxy scandal deserved to die as well

That is the dumbest fxxking argument yet . If Trump is convicted of pedophilia Im all for him receiving the death sentence .

Trump is garbage but I can still support some of his policies and many I do not

Personally I have no issue with it as they have been designated terrorists which they are.

No, they’re capitalists. Their goal is to make money. It’s not to start a religious war. Or to kill the enemy. It’s to make $$$. Just because amoral dirtbag Trump called them terrorists doesn’t make it so.

by coordi

unsurprisingly its literally the exact opposite of what you say Like, I don't know how many times this can happen to you Lozen, where you say something and someone immediately corrects you with the actual truth and you never change. You never adapt. You never overcome. You are entirely captured within a cult that wont allow you to update your world view as new information ar

Idiots gonna idiot.

There can be legit security reasons to carry out these attacks. I'm simple stating, let's start w/ at least gathering proper intelligence and releasing that to congress. We don't even have that yet.

by FreakDaddy

There are legit security reasons to not have the US government execute people without due process.

I agree. But the very general question isn't appropriate either if you are testing public support for these boat strikes.

by lozen

You were right were I got it .

I know, but the Task & Purpose article that I found didn't cite a 71% figure. Can you please link to the article that supports the 71% (or confirm that you believe the AI summary you cited is inaccurate)?

Indeed. But the morons in charge are oblivious to any of that. Donald Trump? RFK Jr? Pete Hegseth? Matt Gaetz? These are not serious, competent people. They're grifters at best and morons at worst.

The fact that they're in charge says a great deal about the USA and the quality of people in it.

My AI search cited the Task & Purpose poll . When I google it now I do not even get the Task & Purpose article . I have no clue two searches deliver different results

It's a simple question. Are you able to provide a link to any published article that cites a poll which found that 71% of people (or eligible voters) support these boat strikes? I ask because I was unable to find any such article.

It sounds like the answer is no.

and this is where I point out that Obama, the liberal hero and Nobel peace prize winner, killed 90% civilians in his "targeted" drone strikes. its got nothing to do with the competence of the pedophiles in charge today.

Surely you can't be serious. You do realize governments do this all the time and there are legal definitions of justified lethal force for security reasons.

Not sure if you're arguing just to argue at this point honestly. My initial post was to establish a baseline for both sides.

Trump is garbage but I can still support some of his policies and many I do not

So we got 2 reason to kill anyone without trials by any countries around the world on any territory .

Even if they are wrong but using those excuses to eviscerate someone they dont they like .
Sounds lot like Irak doesn’t …

Perfect .
Got any other reasons ?

That’s wildly untrue. Try to suck less.

Vic lives in an alternative universe of his own facts. The fact that the actual data shows it was closer to single digits will not deter him from creating his own false narrative, as he's done about literally every topic in this political forum. You can't have a serious conversation, let alone, debate w/ him.

He is not grounded in reality at all.

Right maybe this was just an aberration

Oh and they were so mad they threw the whistleblower in jail for a few years.

I don't have the time or energy honestly. Try reading the ENTIRE article you posted.

Surely you can't be serious.

I'm not sure what part of "The US shouldn't engage in extrajudicial killings" you find so amusing. It seems like a really basic-ass moral premise to me.

by FreakDaddy

The initial both-sides premise would be that the US should follow US law and international laws that we've agreed to follow. That being a drug mule (ASSUMING Trump isn't lying about that) isn't a crime that merits summary execution. Seems like a fairly non-partisan take. And I'll certainly agree that Obama's drone strikes were often indefensible.

Guys, we’re getting off topic here.

Mason specifically said that he didn’t want to talk about whether it was right or wrong to blow up boats thousands of miles away from the country and refuse to provide even the barest scintilla of evidence to support the claims that they are full of drugs.

Can anyone please shed anymore light on why people would even try this despite the stated policy of the department of WAR to kill them all????

Why aren’t these violent shows of force having a deterrent effect?!?

You're changing the subject and conflating things. This unfortunately happens a lot on the internet. I never said the bolded above, and don't find it amusing.

I think we're on the same page more than you realize, but you want to argue for some reason. I'll simply state, I agree with you, but that has nothing to do with what I was saying in my posts.
