NL200 river check with top trips
Hey all,
Obviously it worked out - I probably lost the minimum given my hand - but is this river check too nitty? My thinking here was that basically villain isn't going to call anything here that I beat, and he has all the 55 and 66, some 99, and maybe some KQ. I figured check-calling would be the best option hoping he bluff stabs or overvalues something. As a back story, I am non-stop having my strong hands beaten by sets so I am become very aware of betting into dry boards!

If you know Villain is this sticky with any 9x and low PPs (holy moly...), then you absolutely should v-bet this and most likely sigh fold when he raises. I hate this, but unless you know for a fact he bluffs river a ton, I can't see this being a b/c. 8s7s is also a potental hand on his value side.

My check was a combination of intuition that he had a set which was predicated on his preflop call. Second, I assumed that there was little that would call me if I bet but by checking I may encourage them to stab..
Why all of them have weird stats on huge samples?
Still. 100k hands not on one but multiple fishes. Most fish don't play 100k hands in like 3 years.
