SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 7 7

Hero raises to 2.4 BB, MP calls 2.4 BB, CO raises to 9.4 BB, BTN calls 9.4 BB, fold, fold, Hero???

CO squeezer is a reg who doesn't get out of line. No read on BTN, but given his stats I reckon he must be flatting with pocket pairs or suited broadways.

Given stacks, do we call to setmine here, or just fold? We've got a player behind left to act, but seems unlikely he will shove. Thanks!

I think im making a fold here and telling myself im being disciplined, but the implied odds are great and i wouldnt blame anyone for calling. The guy on your left seems like an aggro fish from your small sample though.

I am currently doing a very detailed analysis of my own database and analyzed also spots like these. At least on my sample, it's become extremely clear, that calling 3b OOP is usually -EV, especially set mining. If you ever want to do this, you need to make sure the following conditions are met:
- you are IP
- or: there is a massive fish + ideally stacks are deeper than 100 bb
- you are closing the action - here, MP could pull some weird shove with PP

Here you neither IP, nor have the deep stacks and there ain't any fish either. MP is a LAG, CO is a solid TAG and BTN seems to be a nit, probably sitting there with AQs/KQs/QQ-TT.

You also need to take into consideration cooler spots, i.e.flop comes 7QA and you lose against AA or QQ.

Final answer: fold.

I agree with this, especially out of position and with a player left. This is buring money long term and I love set mining
