Can someone explain why there isn't a 3 card game?
Not talking about pineapple or crazy pineapple because that's holdem with an extra card and you have to throw it away an
Perhaps you could get dealt a 3rd card FACE DOWN after the flop but your only allowed to use 2 of them.
Or you could get dealt a 3rd card FACE UP after flop but you can use all 3.
Pineapple, Crazy Pineapple and 3 card hold em all exist and are played for cash in certain casinos. None of these play more than 2 hold cards at showdown.
Saw a 3 card Omaha game offered years ago. Never saw it actually run and was only even offered a short time.
Because customers are two classes (1) recs who know and play Hold em only and (2) modern competitive players and gamblers who play PLO. It’s the same reason why recs don’t start sitting PLO. It would need to be on ESPN.
How about pineapple but everyone must discard a card FACE UP so we can all see what everyone is throwing away before the flop (another variant would be after the flop)
Be a groan if someone was throwing away an ACE pre flop :-)
