It's ridiculous to think SGA has taken another step this year.
I thought last year when Joker didn't win the MVP it was the GOAT non-MVP season.

To answer the bolded, I think you should quit focusing so much on the offensive side of the ball. OKC has held teams to the lowest FG% in the league, and they generate the most TOs in the league. And it looks entirely sustainable on that side of the ball if they stay healthy. They comfortably led the league in both categories last year as well.

I think there's a motivation to spread MVP awards. Jordan (and Russell) both won 5. Lebron and Chamberlain won 4.

Lebron James about to turn 41 and coming off an injury is averaging 32.8 minutes per game on a team that can easily handle him playing less minutes. Tim Duncan for example never played 31+ minutes per game after age 33.

And the guys with the most minutes off the bench (27 each) were GP2 and Gui Santos. Gui Santos has never averaged more than 4 ppg. GP2 has never averaged more than 7 ppg. It was a shameful performance and the Cavaliers should be ashamed.
