Cbet flop vs villain with range advantage?

Cbet flop vs villain with range advantage?

Hi all,

A few questions on the below hand (as well as my thought process):
1. Does cbetting the flop make sense here? The board hits his range much better than mine, but my thinking is that there are many turn cards that improve my situation (i.e. 5, 8, clubs)? I'm having a hard time weighing the range advantage vs turn factors against each other.
2. Does double barreling the turn make sense here? My reasoning is that I have no showdown value, and have the flush draw as backup.

I realize the preflop raise was a bit loose.

Preflop raise to 2.5 i think is very loose.

As played, i think we could either give up or bet larger on the flop, same for the turn. I think the second card pairing is bad for our range, but now you actually have a draw. Definitely give up river.

I checked the solver and everything i said is wrong (except that 97s is not in utg opening range). Disregard, i guess.

One of the regs I play with LOVES 97s and to be fair, he does well with it. He also only plays it in late position unraised. Personally, UTG is super loose and leads to so many issues, this hand isn't even close to the worse case scenerio.

I just have trouble with the whole line here. I often pretend I'm the villian. If I'm calling your raise on the flop, I'm calling on the turn and another bullet on the river (I know you checked.) I'm not the greatest analyzer or advice giver but this is either fold-pre or different sizing at least. Its ignition so it's ahrder to say what information you have about your opponenet.
