Its a boat minimum. K, J, or he had pocket JJ and how has a better boat than pairing the board. That is how I would play it.

Do you know anything about the opponent? Some people Donk Shove for no reason but I don't call unless I have the nuts. This is obviously a tricky spot.

We can assign a small % of villains range here to be AA despite us holding Ad, it's a weird spot given hero hold AKd which obviously reduces the boats villain can have - i'm not sure villain takes this line with Jx? unless super spewy?.. for me Kx and AA are possible but if i held a random 6x like 67s for instance i think the the river line is what i would go for as i guess a lot of players won't assign much AA into our range and assume its a chop with Kx..

Weird line imo.. in game i'm not sure i can lay it down because for me it doesn't really make much sense plus the combo's of hands villain can have is drastically reduced with hero holding AKd and three of the four 6's already on the board..

ewww

I think we need to look at sb's preflop cold calling range vs hj - in theory, its mostly smaller pockets (although JJ is also in there) and suited aces. I think realistically its more skewed towards small pockets than stuff like A6s (one combo is left) or JJ (3 combos). The question is, what does this specific opponent donk jam for this massive sizing? Some players will jam any pocket pair (they have a boat omg!), others will only do it w JJ or A6s. We need a lot of equity to call here, and its hard to say if we have it without any other info. I think i would personally call (i am a big fish), but i wouldnt blame anyone for folding.

Against an unknown I would fold and not worry too much about it. The pool in general doesn't bluff enough, especially 6x pot overbet shoves.

Better hands you have in your range : some 6's, AA, KK, JJ. Also your hand doesn't block A6 & K6 suited since you have AKd and 6d is on the board. Maybe if you call with just a K you can prioritize the hands with hearts as they block more suited 6's they could have. With the terrible price they offer you I do not believe any K is a call. Kh5h for example might be a much better call ?
