I think in 5c 4 way this is a x/f.

That flop bet seems spewy.

Maybe a small size would be ok as Hero does have good blockers and backdoors.

Hero might have some other flop sizes available in theory, but at this stack depth it seems dicey.

Bet/folding against a xr is kind of a disaster, since backdoor equities and blockers are good AND hero may even fold to some wrap combos he has equity to continue against.

I'm sorry for the random newb question here but I'm starting to learn plo 5 and stumbled onto this randomly:

is vpiping around 50% normal for 5c? it seems absurdly high for me?
is it because this is a higher stakes game? would it be a typical vpip in a lower stakes game with many weaker players?

It is because the players are horrible

I was whinking about small size , but our hand playbility is so bad across multiple streets .
having two aces also blocks our opponnets nut wraps.

Check call / fold also seems really week over here .

This games are min vpip tables. usually set at 45-50%

i see. now that makes sense

I don't play 5c or 6c but I would think as you go up in more cards (4c-5c-6c) your vpip should be higher and position becomes more important - not 50% but certainly higher in 6c then 4c.

This is a tough one, but 5c 4 way and if we are going to be folding to a x/r then I prefer to start with a check.
