its an insidious, deceptive practice that aims to be politically correct and protected on legal fronts

because if pstars was honest I'd be something like "hello, for reason no other than me liking money, I will reduce all of you players rakeback, and reduce my general cost of rakeback"

since they already knew that wouldnt be received well, they go trhiught a loopdiloop they called the chest reward program, and im not having fun opening chest its just a pain

I would have had a better time if they just reduced the rakeback, but that would have brought a commotion because the pool would have had some fact to go and complain about, now with the shady chest some dumb ppl dont realize, others cant do nothing, but the end result is the same

... and thats the world you live in, Im not responsible

if I create a chair compagny

I have to buy wood and pay employees

but for pokerstars theres no wood and no employees

the greed they are showing is so intense I need a word more strong than greed

stars doesnt have employees??
now, that does explain a lot

^ idiot

checked the things too, looks like pokerstars was bought @ 6b$, and makes 75m$ a year, so who tf would buy that to get a roi in 120 years

so now somehow they took a easy cashflow machine and turned it into a less than rpofitable thing

^ what are you playing out of curiosity?

PLO. I didn't lose it because of the traffic just taking too many breaks. That being said it's annoying now especially in being +2 hours from GMT games don't start until 6-8 pm and the only zoom games running are 100 and 25.

Pokerstars was a great company overall.Somehow, someone really screwed it.Maybe it was because they gave up oficially on russians and left many marketplaces. Also, they had so many bad mistakes in this timeframe, that i cannot even say right now.
They took everything for granted, they believed it will last an eternity, but the eternity came real sooner than they was thinking. It will close eventualy or someone will buy at a penny for a dollar and they will try to relaunched.
They removed all the good promotions, they havent invested enough money to keep players in and they made all the changes that were not supposed to be taken.RIP

Do you exchange the chest to a lower chest when you know for sure you won't be able to complete it? Or it doesn't matter if you do it say a day before since by then you pretty would know?

I have been getting the 120000 points chest for $360 each time the last few times. I have around 66000 points out of 120000 points but have to earn 54000 points in the next few days which will not happen. I think I probably will earn at most 90000 points at the max.

Should I exchange now or do I wait a day before and then do the exchange or it doesn't matter? So if I exchange now, I get a gold chest of $125 to unlock right since that would be 50000 points and I have 66000 points? But I lose the remaining 16000 points? Then my next chest I earn would be gold and require 20000 points? The thing is what if I wait till I have 90000 points and then do it? I know I would earn the gold chest of $125 but now I would lose the remaining 40000 points? Or would I get the gold chest of $125 and 2 silver chests of $40 reach? The thing is if I lose the 40000 points, then I should exchange now right? So any points I earn after exchanging the chest will be worth something right? What is the correct way here to exchange chests if you are pretty certain that you won't earn the 120000 points? Exchange now at 66000 points? Or until at what point amount? The maximum I will earn is 90000 points. But that isn't 1 gold and 2 silver right?

If at the start of a new chest you know you won't make it you should immediately exchange

is there a way to stop receiving these 50 cents chests?

would stopping playing sit n go work?

im talking about that ****ing 50 cents chest for a sit n go tournament that gives a ticket, is not even worth 50 cents

its like a string of tournaments that wayyy down the line gives you a silver something idk

aint no way I try to turn 50cents into a lot of money, its too difficult, not worth my time

so I just feel im not getting anything for rakeback because im getting flooded by these worthless chests, if at least it was actually a 50 cents tournament id at least feel it being worth less than 50 cents, but as a string of tournaments its not worth anything to me

Do you lose the points then in the example I mentioned? So you only get one chest cash bonus? So if you have 66000 points out of 120000 points and won't earn the full points, then you immediately exchange it because if you earn another 20000 points before the chest expires, well you can only exchange and get $125 but now you lose 36000 points? But if you exchange it, well the 20000 points you earn will be for the gold chest?

So you don't ever get like 2 gold chests or a mix of gold and silver chest if you exchange it when you have say 100000 out of 120000 points or 80000 out of 120000 points?

yes

@PaulyJames200x You already know all this - why are you asking again? I remember answering about a year ago the last time you asked.

[QUOTE=ManastaR;59065109]is there a way to stop receiving these 50 cents chests?

They aren't part of the standard rakeback programme. Why dislike some free extra value so much?

Just play the spin and go with the ticket and shove every hand at least.

Build up some tickets and max late reg everything - won't actually take much time to get a step 4 which you can use in the power path express (1 of the best +ev tourneys on stars now)

Hello guys,
Can someone confirm that "28 rolling day period" to complete PokerStars reward chest is equal exactly to 672 hours to do that ?

Yes, it's 28x24 hours starting from the minute you complete the last one

Hi, A question please, I have gold chest status, I understand that if I Rake $500 I unlock the chest that gives me $125 (25% RB)... But I once read that for some players the Rake to generate to unlock said chest could be higher, is this true or am I wrong? Since if that were the case, it would be something similar to GG's pvi. Thank you

Hi. I don't think so. There is no such thing on stars
