What is the point of the flop in poker, is it supposed to be an appetizer?
Why do we even have the flop in poker if we assume everyone plays good, pokers just a boring game playing the turn and river? The flop is the appetizer and the turn/river are the main course?

Is it supposed to be equivalent to like going on a date, and after the appetizer you sort of get an intuition of what's going on

I think i also meant to say that the flop supports the turn and river in setting the stage for the main course like an omakase
I do like the idea of two turn cards, so it's 3 flop, 2 turn, 1 river.
A 6th card would make NLH more like Omaha, think NLH is perfect the way it is. I guess i meant that NLH is boring now the flop is the flop, feels like everyone knows how to play it now a days.
