President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

I'm certainly no fan of MTG's conspiracy theories or politics, but she was on Real Time last week and didn't say anything close to crazy. And she didn't lie and evade questions like almost all Republican politicians who come on the show. Nick Fuentes supposedly didn't really say anything remarkably crazy on Tucker either.

Like almost all politicians, she's at least somewhat mindful of the audience she's addressing at a given moment.

You sound like a MAGA when they were saying how she sounded so normal when talking about how the election was stolen.

She's full of chit. She goes on and on about the ACA subsidies, yet she voted for the Trump bill which 86'd extending the subsidies.

She's up for re-election next year and there's talk of her making a run at the Senate or even president.

You don't say...

"A US judge on Monday found evidence of “government misconduct” in how a prosecutor aligned with Donald Trump secured criminal charges against former FBI director James Comey and ordered that grand jury materials be turned over to Comey’s defense team."

by Rococo

That's correct. She never used that exact term. She gave oxygen to a theory that associated space lasers with the Rothschilds, and then claimed that she didn't know the Rothschilds were Jewish. Thanks for that important clarification.I am not unhappy that MTG is at odds from Trump, but I will never be "satisfied" with her as a politician because she is a nutso conspiracy the

Yeah, there is an aspect of critical thinking that is absent for these people when we talk about subjects like this. Similar to "Trump never said to inject bleach" people.

No, MTG never said "Jewish space lazers", just like Trump didn't say "We should inject bleach".

Trump implied that we could inject solvents that were mentioned in a study and those solvents happened to be bleach and isopropyl alcohol. It takes an extra step to get there, but the destination is still just as straight forward and reasonable. Of course if you were paying attention then criticizing MTG for "Jewish space lazers" was completely reasonable because thats what was implied by what she said. But you kind of have to think about it for a second and that step can be hard

Speaking of MTG.... for years, she's an enemy of the left. Even though she's claimed she's received all sorts of threats, it was never serious enough to file anything w/ the police or FBI.

She becomes an enemy of the right, and within a day she's filing death threat and assassination claims to police for protection.

One interview or her entire body of work? Wonder which one we should be evaluating.

This is the woman that broke with Nick Fuentes because he wasn’t pro-Trump enough for her.

Lol. How about that.

What specifically is "low education white culture?"

And how does it differ (if at all) from "low education black culture" and "low education latino culture?"

Thanks.

good point but zero chance erectile disfunction responds to this

That can't be true. We all know the radical left is the threat. You know, antifa and blm and all that.

Actually there are multiple interviews and a few on hostile networks

I started my comment by saying I'm not a fan of her conspiracy theories or politics, went on to say something unrelated to those, then at least 4 people immediately make replies about her conspiracy theories and political positions.

My point was just that she seemed like an actual human, who talked about her positions and responded to questions. This was in the table discussion - she wasn't the one interviewed at the beginning of the program.

If you guys don't regularly watch the show then you probably don't realize how every other Republican politician (and some of the Democrats) on the show acts - they're asked questions and then reply like robots with canned answers that spout the Trump party line, usually not even answering the question. It was refreshing to have her being part of a discussion instead of giving mini scripted speeches.

She doesn’t tell it like it is and she’s not genuine. That’s the point. Your one interview sample size when she is trying to make a name contrasting herself to other Republicans gives me like a .0001% credence update on her being reasonable or a truth teller. Her history has been the exact opposite of that and it won’t be long until there’s another “fell for it again” moment.

But whatever, you like her better than the other Republicans. Don’t really care about that.

Dude, she's been doing the same stuff for a few months now. She's separating from MAGA because she knows the show is over. We're just letting you know she's pandering and full of chit since you seem to be confused.

THe funny thing about Bill Maher is the republicans will show up to appear on his show but most of the Democrats are scared to appear

Maher himself has said that many times.

To be fair, if I was was a Democrat politician I probably wouldn't want to be on his show either.

The funny thing about Bill Maher is

White house twitter is unhinged

Nope

It seems crazy to me how many Trump supporters think the economy sucks. I would think you would just go down with the ship if you genuinely had trouble affording things and voted for the guy pushing tariffs and inflationary tax cuts that give more to high earners.

It was not an interview, as I already said. Does anyone actually read posts before they reply to them?

I don't know why more Democrats don't show up, but most often when a Republican is there they add nothing to the discussion.

I don't know what they're putting in your weed in OR, but 80% of Maher's guests are liberal and or Democrats, but feel free to keep glazing MTG.

Once in a while, sure.

We're talking about Democrat politicians not frequenting Maher's program. Please try to keep up. Thanks.

Maher himself has lamented that fact.
