That's correct. She never used that exact term. She gave oxygen to a theory that associated space lasers with the Rothschilds, and then claimed that she didn't know the Rothschilds were Jewish. Thanks for that important clarification.
I am not unhappy that MTG is at odds from Trump, but I will never be "satisfied" with her as a politician because she is a nutso conspiracy theorist. No amount of criticizing Trump can change that simple fact.
She hasn't turned left. Her problem is that she was a MAGA ideologue, which makes her a rare bird in Congress. More sophisticated Republicans have always understood that MAGA isn't really an ideology. It's just a slogan for a cult of personality.

MTG is like an influencer trying to take credit for things that had nothing to do with her. For instance, earlier this year she tried to attach an amendment to a defense appropriations bill to remove defensive funding from Israel, which was an absurd amendment that got soundly defeated with only 6 voting in favor of the amendment. The Israeli advocacy groups then took this as a huge win, even though the vast majority of Democrats voted against the defense bill itself, technically voting against the defense appropriations for Israel.
So MTG did a symbolic gesture that made herself seem like she was some leader on being anti-aid-to-Israel when she had been trying to use criticism against Israel against certain members of congress as a political cudgel earlier this year, and had been a huge supporter of Israel. So we see whenever MTG switches sides, she can’t just fall behind someone in a reasonable way, she has to put herself at the forefront. And she switches up quite frequently, to the point of just being a horrible political ally even when she’s on your side. She doesn’t work well with others, she does wild political stunts, and everything always has to be about her gaining in political stardom.

And she didn't lie and evade questions like almost all Republican politicians who come on the show. She came across as someone with good intentions, especially regarding the Epstein files, and I don't think she's smart enough to have been faking it.
