President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
On a practical political level, I don't believe these emails are significant. In order to move the needle for Trump supporters on something Epstein-related, I think you would need an indisputably authentic video of Trump having sex with someone he knew was 17 or under or violently assaulting someone 18 or over. Nothing less would suffice. Emails that suggest Trump knew some
They will say it's AI. Nothing will change the mind of Trump supporters. Shaking hands with terrorists(ex or not) wont. Sex with underage girls wont. Causing them to go bankrupt wont.
The bolded is literally false.
That stat does not say or imply or suggest that 45% of ACA enrollees and/or recepients are Republicans.
Different context bro. The context is those folks who buy their own insurance.
Afaik, in order qualify for an ACA subsidy, you need to buy your own insurance. If your employer offers affordable insurance, you do not qualify for an ACA subsidized plan, bro. The chart literally shows 45% of ACA enrollees being Republican.
The things we argue about.

It seems to be stuff we already knew, so no, it's not likely to have much effect.

This isn't difficult math, guys. The total number of ACA enrollees is split almost exactly 50/50 between marketplace enrollees and Medicaid enrollees. If you accept the survey as valid, then approximately 36% of total enrollees are Republican and 36% are Democrat. Republicans outnumber Democrats among marketplace enrollees and Democrats outnumber Republicans among Medicaid enrollees.
What's up? I'm talking about the KFF polling data from June that Jefferies and other Dems use when speaking about how the ACA is split 45/35/20 between R/D/I.
Can't wait to hear people tell me that this is another witch hunt like Russia, Russia, Russia was in 2016 and how I get to tell them that Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files.
C'mon, man! You calling Lake a liar??
Cliffs: Over half of ACA enrollees live in Red Congressional Disticts.
Of course. Let me Google that for you.
For sure. And with Trump posting AI videos of himself flying Air Force bombers dumping diarrhea on people and him playing keyboards in Journey, there is no video they would ever accept as being genuine.
I mean KFF, the date, and data the Dem leader of the House references, it's pretty fukking easy to find.
But here you go:
You guys are weird. I’m not going to take someone at their word over a statistic I myself am not familiar with, and if I had a stat I would want to cite I would look it up first.
If anything the data cited shows that among Republicans there is a higher than expected break from Trump on this issue, which is what we’re initially talking about, and many independents obviously don’t support the ending of the subsidies.
Anyway it’s just so dumb to want to cite statistics and then say “hurr durr let me google that for you”. Yes, you’re the one that made the claim, so provide the evidence.
That guy Wolff... if I were him, I'd not arrange any meetings in tall buildings, he might find himself accidentally defenestrated.
I reckon there's a solid chance he'll find himself in an Epstein necktie before the year is out.

Actually I think I agree with you now
broadly speaking, QAnon is true. we are ruled by pedophile rapists.

That's some nice malingering.
Let's see... I told you it was:
1) A KKF survey on ACA enrollees by party
2) Done in June 2025
3) 45/35/20 split between R/D/I
4) Jefferies and other Dem leaders have referenced it numerous times
Turns out there is only one such poll if you Google any one of the four items, let alone two, three, or all four in a search. If lag could find it in 5 seconds, then you could do it in 2 because lag can't move a chess piece without knocking a bunch of chit over. But yeah, I linked it at the bottom of the post because I didn't want you to cry about it.
They will say it's AI. Nothing will change the mind of Trump supporters. Shaking hands with terrorists(ex or not) wont. Sex with underage girls wont. Causing them to go bankrupt wont.
I mean they got on tape point blank trump try to overturn an election with asking to find 11k votes to change the result ffs ..
Nothing will change trumpster mind .
It’s a cult .
As strong as Jesus .

The data cited also doesn’t really support your original contention that people wouldn’t care about it though. It also doesn’t actually support your other contention that the majority of people impacted “identify as maga”. It says that 1/3 of them identify as maga.
Those who get their coverage from Medicaid and the ACA Marketplaces represent a range of political identities. More than four in ten of those who purchase marketplace coverage identify as Republican, including one-third who call themselves supporters of President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement. Among Medicaid enrollees, more than a quarter are Republican, including one in five who identify with MAGA.
Most of the public is worried about the consequences of significant reductions in federal Medicaid spending, including among many groups that would be directly impacted by the cuts. Partisanship drives these attitudes to a certain extent, but about two-thirds or more of Republicans enrolled in Medicaid and those with lower incomes are worried that Medicaid spending reductions would hurt their families and their communities.
Fukk all that backpedaling bullshit.
Nuts and bolts: Of the 20 million on ACA, the majority are MAGA. When they're paying a couple of hundred percent higher in premiums with higher deductibles, they will not blame Trump if he comes up with a reason for why it's not his fault. It doesn't matter how ridiculous the reason is. They believe he has put out eight wars.
“Of the 20 million on ACA, the majority are MAGA.”
Really? Where’d you get those numbers from?
Is this you wanting to split hairs on whether deep red states on the ACA is not necessarily MAGA?
Remember the statement I was asking you to justify was
“Of the 20 million on ACA, the majority are MAGA”
You also said
“When they're paying a couple of hundred percent higher in premiums with higher deductibles, they will not blame Trump if he comes up with a reason for why it's not his fault.”
Which I did not challenge, but it turns out even that might not be right according to your own polling data.
I don’t know what “malingering” has to do with this when you just repeatedly say false things and justify it with polls that don’t support the false things you’re saying, and also try to use rhetoric to try to make me look unreasonable for asking for sources. I’m not going to try to string together a bunch of possibly false statements on google in the hope of finding what in the world you’re talking about.

Weeeeeeee....
I stated 45/35/20 split between R/D/I. If you want to bust nuts that it's 31% who "identify as MAGA" and 14% who say, "I'm not MAGA, but I keep voting for Trump" then so be it; the point is there's a swath of voters who will listen to whatever excuse Trump gives for why it's not his fault their premiums tripled.
Apparently trump has decided that October jobs and inflation data won't be released "because of the shutdown "
Absolute bullshit. They have it and they know it's bad.
oh I see Johnson has come up with not allowing the vote about Epstein because... words words words.
Of course he has.
Edit: Some news sources say there will be a vote next week, so not sure now.

Thanks for clarifying.
Math is hard.
By the way, I'm not alone: Four out of every three Americans are bad at math.

That's why I mostly play online.

Why would he not want to engage with the press like he usually does?
Still don’t understand why he feels the need to show off his signature.
It projects a “mommy look I pooped in the potty” vibe.
He fired (or maybe demoted) the person who was previously in charge of the department that put out the jobs numbers. But he put someone new into that position. I can't imagine that anyone not willing to release false numbers would have been willing to take the assignment.
