TPGK turn fold?

TPGK turn fold?

New to the table no info on villain.

NL100

Hero 100bb villain covers.

V raises to $2 from the CO

Hero calls kJo on the button

Sb calls

Flop: 5d 6d Kh ($7)

Sb checks, V checks, hero bets $2.88, sb folds V raises to $14.40, hero calls

Turn 2s ($35.80)

V bets $25.85, hero folds.

Thoughts on play and if this is a fold.

My thoughts was multi-way villain would of bet flop with the majority of his range and when I bet small (probably a mistake) that may of induced a raise with V holding the ace of diamonds/air and was looking to fold out my weak kings and 5/6x and pocket pairs?

3B or Fold is better strategy as default instead of cold-calling. If I where to cold-call it would mainly be small pockets pairs.

Standard approach for many regulars is to range check OOP being MW to then.

Your bet seems fine (check back is better imo).

Cheers for the advice, think after absorbing your opinion on that it’s…… CIGGYTIME1 haha

Pre is a 3b or fold spot imo. Depending on villains stats vs 3bets and villains in the blinds etc determines how I construct my range.

Flop can go either way for me and like any other spot is villain dependant but the board seems to hit hero’s range better than villains- my line could go bet flop, check back turn and bluff catch rivers.. or bet flop and turn to squeeze some value from villains that get sticky with middling pairs etc.

As played are we saying that turn is a fold?

If you're playing off script it's going to depend a lot on things that aren't in the hh like player type/table dynamics/how hero is perceived etc. Vs some players bad others good

That's why it's better to stick to the script. The wider the ranges the harder it is to ever know the optimal play. If you'd 3b and faced x/r I would call one street for sure. Multiway SRP is going to be a bit stronger as they have more sets and 2p

lol, funny because I post my opinion here at random and happen to see your post first.

Also I changed my mind KJo is good all-in preflop hand here being 100bb efc.

Haha I’m guessing I should chuck in all my 73s 8ish to my 3bet AI range as well?

^ my thoughts were that villain is betting that flop with his entire range multi-way, if he has sets then that unblocks all kx hands that are you are going to get value off and kx wants to bet for Protection and value, also AK and KQ aren’t check raising so I thought this has to be fd and maybe some air that sees my small bet as a mid pair weak king and is hoping I fold and will bomb the turn if I don’t?
