Live WSOP circuit event. 2bb in BB with A8o 6 places from money

I was playing a WSOP circuit event with a €375 buy in. Almost 400 players with 55 itm. 61 players left. I am the BB and have 2bb left after these blinds. A player UTG just sat down at the table and opens 2bb. Buttom with the chiplead flat calls. I have been carddead for several levels and have A8o. What do I do here? I have no read on UTG and button plays a lot of hands and is chipleader. My thoughts were that I can fold here and wait on a big hand the next round to double or go all in automatic the next bb (I habe to pay the ante). One round of play is probably not long enough to reach the money. I feel I might be able to triple here. I might be ahead of the button with the utg being a dark horse. What would your play be?

I think you've just got to jam with 2 BB behind. I'm not exactly loving it, but you're getting great pot odds and you're not on the stone cold bubble where you could potentially fold your way into the money. If I'm understanding the situation correctly you have two additional BB after posting your big blind, so that should be enough to reopen the action. Ideally UTG reraises to isolate and you go heads up with a chance to more than quadruple your stack.

Also for future reference you should probably brush up on push/fold charts. Sometimes you get to 4bb after losing a big all-in, but you should rarely blind out to next to nothing even if you are pretty card dead.
