There are six active players with 25,000 points in the league. Seems like a lot. After this season there might be six with 27K. Pretty sure that's a lot.

Durant is good will probably finish this year # 5 all-time scoring. I think he's earning his place on the all-time starting five or at least the second five?? Him or Duncan is one interesting debate. I remember when he came out of Texas looking like he could be one of the greatest shooters/scorers who ever lived -- and maybe THE greatest -- and the debate was whether or not to take him over this defensive minded center, Greg Oden. And Portland, of course, got it wrong. Even when they got it right (Walton), it went south on them.

I once made a list on here of all-time greats and other stars the Blazers passed over in the draft. Something like Jordan, Durant, Bird, Dr. J, Barkley, Mark Price, Calvin Murphy, Tiny Archibald, Spencer Haywood, McAdoo, Westphaul, Nater (only man to lead both the NBA and ABA in rebounding), McGinness, Kenon (that's what I used to call myself on the playground when the bros called me Havlicek), Bridgeman, Free, Dantley, Parish, Nixon, Cheeks, Theus, Vandeweghe, Nance, Ainge, Rodman, Sabonis, Maxwell, Kerr. That's just thru the 70s and 80s. And who they took passing over those names is just comical, just NOTHING in almost every case. It's like they went total brain dead busto in drafting every year. How many MVPs, scoring titles, and All-Star seasons is in that list? The two they got right it looks like were Walton (impossible to get that one wrong) and Drexler. But it's hard to be as wrong as they were in drafting.

He baited Wemby into at least 2 fouls, which led to him sitting and then ultimately fouling out. Lakers attacked the paint Hard every time Wemby was forced to sit.
