Unfortunately, federal government websites can no longer be trusted to present true information. Surely you had heard?

This is not the sort of thing Trump would say if he were planning to argue to the Supreme Court that up is down w/r/t to the 22nd Amendment.
As I've said previously, I can't rule out the possibility that Trump will attempt to remain in office beyond his second term, but if he does so, it won't be based on a hope that the SCOTUS will rule that he is entitled to run for a third term. I still rate Trump staying in office as a remote possibility. But if he does so, it will be on a supposedly "interim" basis because he has contrived some reason why elections can't be held on the normal schedule. That sort of move would face enormous legal and practical hurdles as well, but it is more plausible than pinning your hopes either on a rocket speed constitutional amendment or on the Supreme Court flat out disregarding the 22nd amendment.

Your article starts with "President’s allies say deficit is going down, but predictions for 2026 still range as high as $2.2 trillion" as if the deficit going down is an opinion. It only shrunk by 2.5%, but wording it as if it is an opinion is beyond stupid and everyone should question the whole article when it starts like that.
Any future debt to GDP projections is very difficult because it is hard to know the effects of GDP growth on a tax cut/raise/extension. I would assume an article that starts like your link does is going to be very biased in their reporting of who they pick to use for a future GDP to debt ratio.
